We recently stayed at this hotel, and here is our experience. The food is absolutely good, and we enjoyed every meal. The view is nice too and truly something to appreciate. Unfortunately, the hotel is old, and it shows especially in the pool area and the hotel rooms. It is extremely noisy in between the rooms, and if you stay on the first floor above the entertainment in the main floor, you can expect music and thumping until 1 AM. This was particularly challenging for us with a 3-year-old. The hotel reminds us of a dormitory. Relatively expensive for what you get, in our opinion. It is time for a major upgrade in order to consider a revisit.

Det er veldig lytt her og man hører godt de som går forbi eller har rom ved siden av. Fikk rom rett over et røykehjørne så røyken kom inn på rommet.
Hotellet har veldig god beliggenhet og frokosten var veldig bra 😊

Bra på det meste, hyggelig og nostalgisk.
Fantastisk beliggenhet, vennlig og hjelpsom betjening. Vidunderlig med så mange preparerte skiløyper - noe av det beste jeg har opplevd. Hotellet er preget av 70-80 talls dekor, mørkt og litt gammelmodig, men godt vedlikehodlt og sjarmerende/nostalgisk. Maten på restaruanten var en skuffelse. Ingrediensene var gode, men ikke tilberedelsen. Synd for både maten og oss som kunder. - særlig når den høye prisen blir tatt i betraktning. For slapt. Her må det et løft til.

Don't book the horseback riding.
Dinner was great and people that worked in the restaurant were very helpful. Check in was fast and easy. The slide at the pool left me with painful bruises.
We had booked horseback riding through the providerer recommended by the hotel. We received no confirmation email and no instructions of where to go. We went to the provider's stables which were 45 minutes away. Then, we find out we were supposed to go to the hotel and the riding will have to go on without us. Then we got a call telling us to go back to the stables. Then we get a text telling us to go to the hotel. We turned around several times. The hotel says the privider will have to reimburse us and the provider won't respond.
