Wij zijn met ons gezin, papa en mama en 2 zonen van 18 en 16j, 5 dagen te gast geweest bij luc en herman. Kortom:fantastisch! Heel lekker en uitgebreid ontbijt, heel concrete tips voor uitstappen in de buurt. We hebben zo plekjes ontdekt die we zelf nooit hadden gevonden! Verder heel mooie en propere kamer, heel ruim ook! Groot zwembad, mooie tuin...was veel meer dan we ooit hadden kunnen hopen! Dikke merci aan deze top gastheren!

A localização é fabulosa para quem deseja sossego, luxo, privacidade e quem gosta de acordar com uma vista fabulosa no meio da serra. Quartos incríveis, adoramos a cama e as almofadas, verdadeira sensação de conforto. Os anfitriões são super atenciosos, tudo está devidamente pensado para uma estadia fantástica. Desde o mais pequeno pormenor, como as toalhas de piscina,máquina de café no quarto, frigorífico almofadas para cada cadeira, códigos de entrada para a nossa maior segurança e privacidade... Desde a nossa chegada até á saída só temos coisas positivas a falar. Não esquecendo a piscina aquecida, e o fabuloso pequeno almoço. Foi uma estadia fantástica e a repetir um dia. A qualidade é de nota .

Everything was outstanding. Hosts Luc and Herman run a very relaxing inn and have thought of anything you could possible need. Breakfasts included the most delicious fresh pastries, cooked to order eggs, and a wide variety of coffee selections all served on the outdoor patio. The best part of our stay had to be our daily adventures. They really know the region and suggested some amazing driving routes through this less-traveled region. Thanks again!! -Steve & Sharon

Zeer gastvrij. Erg vriendelijke eigenaren. Mooi en verzorgde B&B. Voorbeeld voor anderen! Hoge servicegraad. Kan menig 5-sterren hotel niet aan tippen. Hier staat men voor de gasten. Service, service en nog eens service. Altijd heerlijk en goed verzorgd ontbijt. Werkelijk aan alles is gedacht. Rustig gelegen. Erg fijn is ook het adults-only concept. Wat een rust. Men dacht erg actief mee met activiteiten die je kon gaan doen. Qua bezienswaardigheden, eten, drinken, wandelen etc etc. Complimenten. Het maximum is 5 sterren. Maar voor ons is het een 10 met een griffel.

Als je een keer een B&B wilt ervaren die je het gevoel geeft van een vijf sterrenhotel dan ben je bij Herman en Luc precies op de goede plek. Het is niet alleen een schitterende accommodatie, maar ook de beide gastheren zijn vijf sterren waard! Heerlijk en uitgebreid ontbijt, tips voor dagtrips en prachtige, zeer schone kamers zijn allemaal inclusief!

In Carvalhal hebben we 2 geëngageerde gastheren ontmoet die er alles voor over hebben om je, tijdens je vakantie, zo snel mogelijk het eche thuisgevoel te bezorgen. Tips en trips om de omgeving te verkennen werden zeer duidelijk toegelicht. Fantastisch! Alle gasten beschikken over een zeer mooie, propere kamer. Het ontbijt is zeer verzorgd uitgebreid en mooi gepresenteerd. Alle hygiëne wordt gerespecteerd Kortom, wij hebben genoten van ons 6 daags verblijf in Carvalhal!

Wij hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad in Casa Carvalhal mede dankzij de fantastische zorg van gastheren Luc en Herman. De B&B ligt op een schitterende plek, ontzettend rustig met een prachtig uitzicht, op loopafstand van het dorp. Onze kamer was erg ruim, met nog een extra kamer voor eventuele 3e gast. Zeer grote badkamer met heerlijke douche, je verblijf is echt van alle gemakken en luxe voorzien. 's Morgens kregen we een zeer uitgebreid vers ontbijt, niets is de gastheren teveel je wordt echt in de watten gelegd. Alles wat over is van het ontbijt krijg je mee voor de lunch als je daar prijs op stelt, dat was erg prettig. De gastheren komen met leuke tips om de omgeving te verkennen, hebben mooie routes uitgestippeld, wij hebben ervan genoten! Ook het dorp zelf is de moeite waard, mooie rivier strandjes, voldoende eetgelegenheden voor een paar dsgen. Verwacht geen fancy restaurant maar wel lekker portugees eten tussen de locals die er alles aan doen om het je naar de zin te maken. Een middagje bij het zwembad liggen is ook geen straf, fijne ligbedden en het zwembad is verwarmd dus prima om te zwemmen. Dank Luc en Herman voor de heerlijke dagen en de leuke avond die we met jullie hebben gehaf in het kippen restaurant!

We hebben super hard genoten van ons verblijf bij Herman & Luc. We voelden er ons direct thuis. Prachtige B&B in een zeer mooie omgeving. Prachtige kamer, zalig zwembad en iedere morgen een fantastisch ontbijt verzorgd door de 2 gastheren. Herman en Luc hebben ons ook enkele mooie plaatsen in de omgeving leren kennen. Er zijn vele mogelijkheden zoals wandelingen, rivierstranden en prachtige autotochten waardoor je de omgeving nog meer leert kennen. We kregen ook vele tips voor restaurants in de omgeving waar je lekker kan gaan eten. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.

Een super aangenaam verblijf in een prachtige B&B tussen de mooie natuur. Herman en Luc zijn prachtige gastheren die ons veel fijne plaatsen hebben doen leren ontdekken met de nodige documentatie en reisroutes erbij. Het ontbijt was heerlijk en de doggybag werd dagelijks aangereikt om de restjes van het ontbijt mee te doen. Heel goeie tips voor restaurants in de buurt. Een fijn zwembad met uitzicht over de bergen. Een plek waar je tot rust komt en een met de natuur. We hebben ongelooflijk genoten.
