This hotel is an absolute gem. The entire property is smart, clean, and appears to have been recently refurbished. Our room was modern and immaculate. While the bathroom was on the smaller side, it was well-maintained and didn't detract from the overall excellent experience. The hotel's classic layout is charming, and the amenities were a definite highlight—a large, pristine pool, a sauna, a jacuzzi, and a gym, all in perfect condition. The location is ideal for accessing the town, and the staff and owner were incredibly helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be returning.

We were in the Goderich / Kincardine area (visiting a client) and stayed for one night (two weeks in a row). We didn't have high expectations staying at a motor hotel, and we were very pleasantly surprised! The rooms were clean, quiet, and comfortable. Staff were over the top friendly and pleasant (shout out to Paola, Victoria, and Mary!!) Well above average and great value!!

There is much good and much not so good about this motel. The Good: price, friendly reception person, clean big room (jacuzzi suite), comfy bed with great pillows, good location very close to downtown and 5 minute drive to Main Beach…now, the not so Good: worn looking building, pool was not heated during our stay, hot tub jets not working, nice shower but very low water pressure….

Looks a little dated from the outside but a beautiful up to date facility inside. We had a beautiful jacuzzi suite with a king bed. Huge room! Had room for a Murphy bed if required ( which they asked us if we required). Quiet location, we where at back and never heard anything. Clean spacious pool in a separate building which also has a dry sauna, hottub and a fitness room. We loved it an are definitely returning. Great value for the $.

Our party of five (3 adults, 2 children 10 & 1) stayed for one night at the end of May. The 2 side by side rooms were very clean (no carpet), quiet, spacious and the beds were very comfortable (3 pillows/bed). For someone who normally only sleeps 5-6 hours/night the 8 hour sleep I got that night was much appreciated. The star of our overnight trip was the indoor pool. Each of the 3 times it was used we were the only ones in it. It's been over two weeks and we're still talking about our stay at the Cedar Lodge Motel.

We have always enjoyed staying at Cedar lodge. Staff is wonderful. Establishment is clean and inviting. The pool is great and has a good hot tub. Price is affordable. Always look forward in returning. Goderich is a cute town with all the conveniences. Our family enjoys Cedar lodge also.

Great motel as usual. Been here about a dozen times. Great staff. Large clean room. Nice shower plenty of hot water. Comfy bed and pillow. Pool and hot tub are awesome. Pool towels in lobby Easy to park. Handy to everything in town. Very good rates.

The motel /lodge is located on a quiet street close to restaurants. The rooms are clean and newly renovated. The bathrooms are also new with glass showers stalls. There is a nice deck where you can sit out. The beds are very comfortable. My only issue is the pool and hottub closes at 8pm. Too early. By the time we got back from town and dinner it was closed. Most places I've been to the pool is open to 10pm.

This little motel was a huge surprise. Right in the middle of Goderich, easy to find and lots of historical, cultural and shopping very close. Walking distance to a terrific Chinese Restaurant. The biggest surprise was the totally updated room, huge indoor pool, exercise room, hot tub and sauna. The desk staff person was so helpful and suggested sites to see along our route of travel. Great stay, good value, lovely little motel and hope to return soon.
