Just had a fantastic 3 night stay at the Mallyan Spout Hotel, our first time stay here,rooms clean and tidy,food excellent and what a choice of food for breakfast and dinner. A well stocked verity of cask ales and wines.The staff cannot do enough for you here at the mallyan.We had a relaxing and excellent stay here.We will be back.

Have just returned from a 3night trip, taking advantage of the ‘three for two’ offer. We’ve stayed here many times over the years but this is the first time since the new owner took over. We weren’t sure how much things might have changed, but fear not - they haven’t apart from a few minor things which are for the better! There is a very relaxed, welcoming atmosphere, the staff are friendly and welcoming and the rooms spotlessly clean. Breakfast gives plenty of choice, we didn’t eat in the restaurant but enjoyed food in the bar - again plenty of choice and all delicious. Ashleigh in the bar is very efficient and takes time to welcome you and have a chat. So……….. all in all a good few days away and The Mallyan Spout is as good as it always was. Thank you to Joe and the staff for all your hard work and we hope to see you again soon.

A cosy welcoming hotel a short walk from the village shops and Goathland station.The staff as always are very friendly,the rooms spotlessly clean and have all you need to feel at home.The choice of meals is varied and good quality.You can choose to eat in the restaurant or bar. We will definitely return later in the year.

Had a fabulous 2 night break away and stayed in one of the Valley View Rooms. It's the first time we've stayed here and certainly won't be the last. The room was amazing with a very comfy bed & so much space! The food was out of this world. Ate in the restaurant the first night and then in the bar on the second. The quality of the food was top notch! ALL the staff were extremely friendly, attentive, informative about the area and we noticed that nothing was too much of a problem for them. Fabulous place to stay and can't wait to return!

Had a fabulous stay at The Mallyan Spout Hotel last weekend, a great recommendation from a good friend. Stayed in one of the Superior rooms, 19. The room was lovely. We ate at the hotel on the evening and the food was fab, I had fish and chips which is one of the best I've ever had and my husbands steak was cooked perfectly. The breakfast the following morning was lovely, we had the smoked haddock and the grilled kippers, highly recommend. All of the staff were so friendly and helpful, we can't wait to return.

Staff were wonderful. Food was excellent. Good choice for dinner and breakfast. Easy walking to local attractions. Only stayed for one night but would definitely use this hotel again when in the area.

We recently stayed a night at the mallyan for my birthday, we stayed in the junior suite and the room was incredible and well kept and we had a great night sleep.The breakfast was delicious,a great selection of fresh fruit and pastries on the continental breakfast,we also ordered the Yorkshire breakfast which we throughly enjoyed. Will definitely be coming again x
