Dies ist ein einfach gehaltenes aber sehr bequemes Hotel zwei Kilometer außerhalb des Zentrums von Gmunden. Die gute Aussicht und die absolute ruhelage bezaubern. Auch tragen die freundlichen und zuvorkommenden Besitzer viel zum Wohl befinden bei. Ausgezeichnet ich schlafqualität. Bequeme Betten. Insgesamt sehr zu empfehlen.

Zu unserem heurigen Vetriebsmeeting durften wir heuer im Hotel Magerl Einzug halten. Wunderbar gelegenes Haus mit sehr herzlichen Chefleuten und zuvorkommenden Personal, es blieb kein Wunsch verweigert und alles in allem sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Frühstücksbuffet war absolut ausreichend und das Mittag- sowie Abendessen schmackhaft gut, die Getränkeversorgung optimal und hier werde ich auch privat einmal zur Übernachtung aufschlagen.

Sehr gut geführter Familienbetrieb, sehr hilfsbereit,sehr freunlich, sehr humorvoll. Hotel insgesamt sehr sauber, ebenso die Zimmer. Sehr schönes Badezimmer. Das Frühstück überdurchschnittlich gut, mehr als ausreichend und sehr gute Qualität. Die Speisen sehr gut und ebenso sehr gute Qualität. Insgesamt ist dieses Hotel sehr empfehlenswert.

The best part of this hotel is the location, around 2-3 minutes walk from the Grunberg lift, similar to the lake and maybe 10 minutes from the town area. Perfect. We stayed in a family room. These are not well described on their website but was a double room plus a room attached with two single beds. The room was large. There was one bathroom with bath and over bath shower. Everything was very clean. Decor was perhaps a little dated but all required furnishings there. We had a small balcony that overlooked the back of the hotel rather than the lake so whilst we paid for "Lake view", this was from the windows rather than balcony. WiFi was not accessible from our room. Breakfast was served in main hotel building. Buffet with breads, cheese, ham, boiled eggs, croissants, yoghurt. A great spread. There was a pool but we did not use or even look at. Staff were so friendly. Very reasonably priced.
