Hilton Garden Inn Brunswick

When I made the reservation, they told me that the Home 2 suites was sold out. I booked the Hilton Garden inn. The two hotels share the same property. When I got there, I asked if Home 2 suites were they sold out and they said no... but the price was now a lot higher than when I called. The young girl checking me in was not very nice. She saw me with crutches but sent me to a room that was as far away as can be. I went to my room in Hilton Garden inn. It was fine. We went to eat, walked around. Tired and ready for bed after a long day's drive I un-dressed the bed and notice a bug on the night table. I swished it up in a tissue and went to the bathroom to get ready for bed. When I returned to the bed there were several more bugs that looked like termites all over the night table and the bed. I freaked. My husband put one of the bugs in a cup and went to the front desk. They relocated us to another room which was much closer to the elevator. (Why the first desk person did noy give us this room is beyond me....she saw me with crutches). The Front desk person also told my husband they would give us a discount for this. The next morning, I checked out and asked the front desk person if there was a discount on my bill for what had happened. She said no . I told her what happened. She was annoyed. The best she could do for me was remove $50.00 from the bill. I think she should have done more. I will not be staying at this Hilton again.

We reserved the room with two queen beds but they were full instead

1st time to Brunswick but not the last. The location was great, and in a safe spot near lots of shopping, dinning out, and I-95. The staff was awesome!!! Thank you Sarah for making it wonderful. The indoor pool was a major plus, and even when I had to get my daughter some Band-Aids for her foot they gladly helped.

Bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable
