This was the perfect stop after a long morning at Crater Lake. The short drive to the inn wasn’t bad and we checked into our cabin immediately. I will warn you, there is no air conditioning. Just a box fan. And limited WiFi so prepare to be off the grid. But it’s right on the North Umpquah River and you can sit on the back deck and watch the river or venture down to the edge and dip your toes in the water! You can hear the rushing water through the night! Dinner and breakfast was out of this world! DELICIOUS! We sat inside with the air conditioning and it was awesome! Staff is super friendly and helpful! We hope to go back one day!

Stayed here one night last week. Everything was great! The rooms were comfortable and there was no mold which we are sensitive to. It was relaxing staying in a cabin room overlooking the river below the inn. Loved sitting on the deck in the evening. The only suggestion would be to build a half wall privacy screen between the rooms.

Sitting down by the river was absolutely enjoyable. The cabins were very nice. There was no air-conditioning but they had a a large fan for hot days. The food was some of the best we had on the trip breakfast dinner and lunch. They were all done well , outside tables had a view of the river, which was really nice. Would definitely go back.

Only ate lunch there but the setting is idyllic, tucked off the road, with the North Umpqua river right beside it and below about 200 feet away. The lunches were simple but tasty, the beer cold, and the atmosphere lazy as it should be. The river really does look like a great place to work a fly even if no fish are caught. And as it is about 1-2 hours or so from Crater Lake where getting a room at the inn is nearly impossible unless booked the previous winter, one could do a whole lot worse than stay here, motor up to the park and come back in the evening.

Just had our 2nd stay. The rooms are always so clean, and the quiet beauty of the river is so peaceful and calming. Having no TV or Internet is not missed when nature is so front and center. We look forward to returning again soon.

My wife and I just spent an incredible weekend at Steamboat Inn, the bed was so comfortable, and room was very nice, and who made the river so nice. The restaurant provides excellent food, both dinner and breakfast. the best part of the experience was dealing with the staff, amazing people, and very professional and make you feel so welcome, thank you.

I love Steamboat Inn. This is my 4th or 5th visit over many years. It has an old style charm with all the comforts. Comfy beds, decks on the riverside, in room coffee, fireplace stoves for morning or evening. There is a lovely dining room. The meals are hearty, generous and yummy. They work hard to make one's stay a delight. Nearby are many wonderful trails, waterfalls and sites worth a visit. Please consider visiting this great off the beaten path inn.
