Super 8 by Wyndham Glenwood

We were visiting some friends in Glenwood and chose to stay at Super 8 as our preferred hotel was booked up. The lobby and hallways were dirty with large holes in the carpet. Our room was okay, but the tub was either dirty or really worn. The security lock for our door was just a chain lock and this was broken. It didn't feel very safe. We did not try the breakfast and left right away in the morning. We had limited communication with the staff, but they seemed friendly enough.

This facility is lovely, first class gem in all respects! Alas, I did not bring along my swimming trunks. The quality of this place would make it well worth a detour of a few miles. Right on MN State Highway 55, but not at all noisy.

With my online reservation I was quoted a rate of $223 for two nights. Upon returning home and reviewing my credit card charges, I was charged $184 per night! When I called, the owner/operator told me that they charge more because it is summer. After further conversation he actually challenged me to dispute the charge with my credit card company. Game on, Mister! Two other parties in my group visiting Glenwood MN that same weekend were charged as quoted at approx $100 per night. Even that is too much for a Super 8 motel with painted cinderblock walls and questionable cleanliness.

the hotel looks nice. restaurant, gas station, and hotel in same lot, which is very convenience for every body, our room was great they have nice pool and hot tub. main things i loved is nice and hot breakfast that make my day also room was nice, not so pricey

Great pillows. Good TV service. Nice folder guide. Breakfast= pork sausages, scrambled and also peeled boiled eggs, bananas, apples, waffles, bagels, spreads, 2% milk, fine coffee, Buffet a tremendous. time saver. Cheerful front desk, Nick. Meticulous housekeeping. Fresh paint. AC. A+ maintenance and housekeeping.

very nice stuff, Room, cleaning ex... pool was looking very nice, i use hot tube that was so good Morning Break fast is so so good , many item We will use this hotel again every time we need also i will recommend to my all friend and family members

Great location every thing close by fast food, Restaurants, convenience store with gas. Very clean room. good rate , microwave and mini fridge. morning break fast was super many choices. indoor pool was look really good. will back again

Stayed because of a blizzard. The price was great. You had to call at the front desk for the receptionist. (But that was ok, a small town). The bathroom needed some updating. The hall floors also. I understand that it have been updated a lot already. I felt like it was clean, which was a big thing for me. Did not use the pool. I would stay again if I needed a place.

Too many gas coming at all hours of the night that we’re not staying at the hotel and just sitting in their vehicles with people coming out to the vehicles, unsavory drunk guests in the pool around my young children, smoking in rooms that were supposed to be non-smoking which was also not OK with my children staying there. Overall not happy with the cleanliness and stained comforters in the bedrooms so remove them from the beds. Not picky on updates etc. but it could definitely use some minor things as most of it was unappealing. Would not recommend
