This was our 2nd time to stay at Eccles hotel can't fault it location superb had our fabulous breakfast on the terrace looking out to Glengarrif bay . We booked the cosy room which was lovely beautiful bathroom all amenities for our requirements . The chef produces first class cuisine and its great to know produce grown on site fish straight from the ocean meat from local farms. Can highly recommend Eccles . I left my earrings behind and they posted them to me . We will be back !

260€ für 1 Übernachtung:wir haben von einem 4 Sterne-Hotel mehr erwartet, insbesondere den Service betreffend.Das im Internet groß angepriesene Restaurant hatte um 20:30Uhr bereits geschlossen.Nach einer langen Anreise u.großem Hunger mehr als unglücklich.In der Bar wurden wir regelrecht ignoriert u. bekamen weder Karte noch Getränke.Frühstücksbuffet fiel sehr klein aus.Zimmer war sauber.Alles in allem sind wir hier auf eine schön geführte Instagramseite hereingefallen!

Definitely overrated. Room was unbelievably small! Some areas of the hotel have not been renovated for years, old furniture, old carpets, old cutlery… Restaurant serving good food but very limited choices. Not going back. I had greater expectations.

Having spent the morning at sea with Dursey Boat Trips, we travelled back to Glengarriff to seek out a nice lunch and did we strike it with the Eccles Hotel ! Fantastic menu, laden with local produce and, fortunately for us, a great choice of fish dishes. Portions were generous, presentation was remarkable, and the value for money is excellent !

I had a 2 night stay bed and breakfast. The single room was very comfy with a lovely walk-in shower and an amazing view over the bay. I was on the third floor and it was a bit of a route march from the lift, but we'll worth the effort. The breakfast choice was amazing and it is the best soda bread I have tasted for a long time. I want the recipe🤪. A trip to Garnish Island is well worth it and Glengarriff is delightful. I also enjoyed the evening meal with a view over the bay. W

Spent 2 nights here in a room at the back; was warned that it was small but there was ample space for us. We ate in the bar both nights and the food was excellent. We had a slight difficulty with the shower but maintenance arrived very promptly and sorted out the problem. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We got a good deal and would definitely return.
