Paid $30 dollars to then find that the toilet/shower block is out of order …. You do have power though …… drive on by if you can

This is always a good stay for us. There are powered sites but no water, at $30pn it is reasonably priced and the service is always excellent. The amenities are old but really well maintained and it looks like they are building new amenities that look really close to completion.

Disgraceful and unclean amenities. $27.50 for an unpowered piece of dirt and you can’t even have a shower. Drive on if you can

Stay again in June. Much better than when we stayed in March. Has been tidy up a bit. Fuel is cheaper in Glendambo than Port Augusta which was surprising. Food at Pub is the same.. Service is better. Stop over either to Coober Pedy or Port Augusta. No water hook up. Amenities are fine.

Do NOT buy fuel here, you can't just pull up, pump fuel and then go and pay for it in the shop. On 20 April 2025, I had to utilize the pre-pay machine which does not scan your Qantas FF card, does not print receipts and, when I input my email address to have the receipt emailed to me, I did not receive it. I input an estimate of $200, pumped about $150, but they charged me the $200. If there was a 'minus 10' rating for my experience, I would give it.

Good overnight spot to camp. Allows dogs. Cost $30 for powered site Hotel offers a good feed. Refer attached menu for what’s on offer Hotel has a fair bit of interesting stuff to look at. Staff are helpful and friendly. Fuel and food and souvenirs are available to buy

This is an over night stop over. Do not have high expectations. Power, no water, as in previous reviews. $30 power. Amenities cleanish. Very little shelter meaning trees. Camp kitchen not much. This ok for Caravaners. Pack packers or camp trailer be prepared especially water. Non-drinkable water. The Pub is fine lunch and dinner. Also the servo next door.

The caravan park is basically a large gravel area. Plenty of space, toilets are fairly old and could certainly do with an update, however the actual bathrooms were clean, just some staining on floors etc from the bore water. The smell that drifted through bathroom was from bore water and despite other negative reviews for its location it was quite good. The toilets in the bar and service station are newer and more maintained if required. As the park is large it means you can remain connected so easier to get up and away early the next morning.

This place was absolutely brilliant. Just what the camper ordered after a long road trip. The roadhouse was warm and friendly, the food was brilliant. The camp site was very much like wild camping but with all the amenities. Cannot fault the place and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone.
