What a great place to stay for the second time. I just been reading some of the bad reviews and are really stunned. We came back here because of the fact that you really can’t fouled this b and b. It has everything you can ask for and more. Maybe people who don’t like the personal approach will be beter off in a hotel. We love the fact that Ian and Jacky treat everyone who comes to them as their personal guest. The rooms are absolutely spotless and both bed and breakfast are top notch. We recommend this b and b to everyone and will gladly come again.

I was up for 3 nights with my son on our annual winter hiking weekend and this was our first stay here & I have to say I found this to be a great base, both as a hone from home & for it's closeness to where we werevwalking. Jackie & Ian were brilliant hosts and it was nice to walk into a warm & homely room at the end of a long day in the mountains. Breakfast was cooked to order & there was also a wide range of juices & cereals etc. which set us up for a long day. One the 1 day we left before breakfast, we were supplied with a packed lunch instead - a lovely touch. The bedroom was very comfortable, with plenty of room (even with all our kit), a great bathroom and very comfortable beds. There are also comfy chairs and tea / coffee facilities (& biscuits!). Our hosts were always available, friendly & chatty and ready to give suggestions for places to eat. The only ask of us from them was to take our shoes off & to respect their home (hardly an ask). I will return here and would highly recommend it.

The B&B is clean, fresh, and visibly well maintained. The breakfast was nice, and filling. However, I would not return to this B&B. We were just leaving the B&B to meet friends, when we were told by the owners that they would lock the doors at 11.30 pm. If we were drunk, we would not get in to the B&B. We had to negotiate later return after our night out in the local pub. Fortunately, we managed to book a taxi for 10.30pm. On our return to the B&B, we noticed that someone had been in our room as the curtains were drawn and things had been moved in the room. After checkout, I asked the landlady if someone had been in our room. She initially said no, but the husband admitted it was him as he done a turn in service. I informed him that we were not comfortable with this and we felt that being curfewed, with the threat of being locked out appalling. I didn't appreciate his lecture in human thermo-dynamics while walking in cold weather. However, rather than listen to our concerns, we got another lecture on his work experience in kitchens and how he was prepared to fight drunkards at his door. So for us this was not a good experience. Previous reviews have mentioned, similar poor experiences. It appears that rather than listen, learn and change, these hosts lack insight into constructive feedback.

No comments about the B and B, normally I would give a 5 everything super clean, good food, very friendly, super friendly lady... but what a control freak that man is, rules, rules, rules, wow. Surroundings are recommended for hikers.

A great little hideaway in the highlands. Jackie and Ian are terrific hosts. The rooms were comfortable and slept like a rock. Ian is a bit particular about making sure you take your shoes off when entering the house. This is understandable as I'm sure the majority of guests do some significant hiking in the highlands. Jackie does the cooking and breakfast was fantastic. Watch out for Smokey the cat. He's big and likes to lay in the driveway. He won't move if you want to move your car. You have to pick him up and move him off to the side. One side note: I am a bit jealous as our traveling companions were fortunate enough to stay in the Rick Steve's room . LOL Highly recommend.

A well appointed B&B in Glencoe village. Spacious comfortable room with lovely en-suite. Hosts Jacqui and Ian were always friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious! We’ll worth staying with access to walks in the surrounding countryside.

We spent two nights here. The stay was OK but a bit strange. The driveway and the garden are full of skulls and Halloween decorations. The room was very clean, the bed comfortable and the breakfast was completely adequate and good. The owner Jacky welcomed us and immediately introduced us to the first rules (take off your shoes etc.), then we were given very detailed instructions in the room by the owner Ian on how to open and close a window/door properly, where you can and cannot leave your suitcases. He was too pushy and very bossy for our relationship, he even bad-mouthed the table reservation we had made in advance. We didn't really feel comfortable after that and were glad when he finally left our room. Be careful, there are two cats in the house, the house is not suitable for allergy sufferers as the cats also hang out in the breakfast room. What disgusted us during the meal was that the owner gave the butter from the table next to us to the cat to eat...

Beautiful, homely, cosy and with a personal touch. Ian and Jacky are very much the most gracious hosts and we felt warmly invited into their home. Impeccably neat and clean. Rooms are spacious and decorated in all things Scottish. We booked three rooms for our family: a giant king, a king and single room for our party of 5 adults. Beds and pillows were very comfortable and the temperature in the house was perfect. There is a kettle and coffee in each room with cookies that I enjoyed. We had WiFi, Tv and DVD a player, ample plugs to charge devices and slippers for wearing on the carpets. Breakfast was the star- everyone raved about the haggis. There are many choices- you will find something you will enjoy. Ian and Jacky prepare everything thing themselves. It was great quality food prepared well. The garden is interesting and we appreciated it mostly from our rooms because of the weather. A mischievous sense of humour was possibly the landscape brief. We loved our stay and wish we could stay longer. The drive to get here to Glencoe, is possibly one of the most beautiful we have seen. Natural and rugged with the all the elements of the Scottish winter. Make dinner reservations in the area in advance as places open and close early over this time(winter and Christmas) Thank you for a lovely stay
