The boss and his wife have their own personality when it comes to treating Chinese people. They lack respect. They come into the house to clean before the check-out time. The facilities in the house are simple, there is no water supply and drainage, only a small bed, and the two rooms are separated by wooden boards. The neighbors' conversations are as clear as in their own rooms. It is next to the highway, and the rumbling of large trucks at night makes it impossible to fall asleep. This is the only most unfriendly landlord I have ever met, and I must give a bad review.

Nestled near the Waitaki River, this riverside campground offers spacious sites, and top-notch amenities. Excellent facilities, including clean restrooms, BBQ areas, and cabins. Perfect for relaxing by the water and exploring nearby attractions. Really handy for a stop-off on a long South Island trip.

**Glenavy's Waitaki River Motor Camp** We stayed here for one night, and it was beautiful. Everything is well organized, well-maintained, and clean. The friendly owners go above and beyond to ensure that guests feel comfortable. There are toys for the kids, a great playground, a well-equipped kitchen, and lovely warm showers with clean toilets. I give it a ten out of ten and 100% recommend it!

Worst place ever. Came there with my family, And a very loud and annoying sheep. I do not recommend. And some other guests were screaming and the dog was barking. Very loud, couldn’t sleep that night. I have insomnia too which makes it double hard to sleep. 1/5

We found the standard at the property well below others on offer. It was noisy, no facilities with regards to towels etc. There was barely enough room in the cabin to move.
