So we stayed at this hotel every year for the last few years and I know they're working on remodeling we definitely ended up in one of the rooms that was not remodeled as you can see from the photos and the mold and grossness in the room. Carpet is torn up and needs replaced. We also had issues when we arrived as there was a huge party of parents that were there for a sport events drinking in the lobby so loudly that you couldn't even wait in the lobby and hear the employee at the desk but there wasn't an employee at the desk when we were trying to check in so neither my daughter or I even wanted to wait in the lobby because it was that obnoxiously loud. Breakfast was good as normal. The pool was in same shape as prior. Overall felt safe outside of almost getting hit by a car who parked on the sidewalk in the rain and backed up on the sidewalk almost hitting us.

This must be a franchise Marriott location as I could not believe a corporate Marriott property would be this "worn out", dirty, and tired looking. Upon check-in, the employee behind the front desk never looked at us, spoke in short requests, and didn't acknowledge our existence. While waiting for the elevator, we noticed how the picture on the wall was torn up and scarred. The elevator shook and rattled as it took up to the assigned floor. In fact, a contractor on property, said it didn't always work. Great. The bath room floor, in our room, had not been swept from the previous occupant. It was sticky so I can only believe it had not been mopped. The bathtub also had lots of hair in it. The carpet was stained in the sleeping area. The TV screen leaned to the right at a noticeable angle. I assume that it was broken. Good things: air conditioner worked well; beds were comfortable. I would not recommend anyone spending their traveling money on this location and I would think corporate Marriott would want to know what bad condition it is in.
