SpringHill Suites Richmond North/Glen Allen

It was great.

So we stayed at this hotel every year for the last few years and I know they're working on remodeling we definitely ended up in one of the rooms that was not remodeled as you can see from the photos and the mold and grossness in the room. Carpet is torn up and needs replaced. We also had issues when we arrived as there was a huge party of parents that were there for a sport events drinking in the lobby so loudly that you couldn't even wait in the lobby and hear the employee at the desk but there wasn't an employee at the desk when we were trying to check in so neither my daughter or I even wanted to wait in the lobby because it was that obnoxiously loud. Breakfast was good as normal. The pool was in same shape as prior. Overall felt safe outside of almost getting hit by a car who parked on the sidewalk in the rain and backed up on the sidewalk almost hitting us.

We were looking to spend the night without breaking the bank. A bit dated, but everything was clean, parking lot well lit and quiet.

Please don’t stay here. Our room was really dirty with hair on the floor. There were red stains all over the carpet and there was a very “white substance” on the dark couch! We asked for our reservation to be canceled and were able to stay elsewhere. Staff were not shocked and respectfully granted our request to which we are very thankful.

Overall staff was great. Needs to accept cash. Was not happy with a bathroom door that didnt shut, no extra toilet paper and screws left in bedside drawers.

Just ok This hotel is very convenient - right off 95. Tons of restaurants, stores, gas, etc. However this place is old, tired, and quite frankly dirty. The lobby and elevators looked like they hadn’t been mopped in weeks. The room was just ok- very musty, the sofa looked about a decade old and I wouldn’t touch it. The beds were small and uncomfortable. The room had only 1 towel and half used roll of toilet paper. There are a ton of hotels off 95. This one isn’t worth the stay.
