Comfort Suites Innsbrook - Short Pump

The hotel was one of the worst that I have ever seen, so bad that I cancelled my stay. The outside was dirty with beer cans. The location is in an office park area and did not appear to be near anything. People were playing cards on the grass. The lobby was loud and busy with people. Water from the pool traffic was on the elevators. Our room was on the top floor, but the furniture was very worn, no bar soap, and the toilet paper holder would not stay. While our room had air conditioning, the top main floor did not. A poor showing for Choice hotels.

I try to stay exclusively at Comfort inns as they have always been clean comfortable rooms at reasonable rates. That is why I was really disappointed with this Comfort Inn. I went to call the desk I realized there was no phone in the room. OK no big deal. I used my cell. Then when I was getting ready for bed I went to close the privacy curtain. There was none. Again no big deal as i was on the 4th floor and it had enough privacy. I then got into bed. The foam mattress totally collapsed. Obviously and old seen its day mattress. I have a sensitive back and I woke up the next day hurting. I complained and they moved me to a room on the 3rd floor. It was the same type of mattress but this one was comfortable. Now I go to use the bathroom. I hear the toilet is running. I try flushing the toilet and nothing. I called the desk and they sent a repairman. He repaired it. Also the toilet was seat loose. He didn't fix that. Now I go to take a shower and the shower control keeps spinning and I cannot get hot water. I had to take a cold shower. What bothered me the most was the toilet. How could it have been cleaned without being noticed? I went down the next morning and checked out and cancelled the rest of my stay.

We went with a sports team for a tournament. By accident our team discovered a significant ongoing safety concern that I don’t want to specify because doing so could put current guests at risk. When we brought it up to management, they already knew about it and offered a solution that didn’t change the problem. In the end, we took a refund and found a different hotel. I’ve never written a bad review before, but this place merits one. Also, it’s really dirty. Don’t stay here!!!!!!

I have stayed at this hotel several times in the past however this stay was awful. The hotel has taken a decline from previous years. First I received a call the day before I was to check in to say that my room type (Suite with Kitchen and Living area) was not available. I advised that I had the room for 3 days total and was then told that it would be ready by the 2nd day. I arrive and check into another room and that room had no AC. I move to another room for the one night until the next day when my Suite would be ready. Next morning I go to front desk and advise them of the situation and was told that my room was not available because it was still under maintenance!! I stated that I was assured on the phone that the room would be ready. The staff was friendly in trying to accommodate me as I explained that a few friends were coming over for my birthday and I needed the table and living area. Crystal went above and beyond trying to find a room to accommodate me and even tried to take me to show me the alternative room that was available however both rooms were occupied as it was not check out time. After she explained the setup to me I agreed and later checked into the room. Everything seemed fine as I thought room was just warm because I had just gotten in and needed to give it time to cool off however that NEVER happened. I went back to front desk knowing that no other rooms of this type was available however I had already picked up snacks for us to eat while we drank our wine and played games. The front desk clerk Iminaye then offered me fans to try to help cool the room off but they didnt help. It was cooler in the hall than the room so we had to prop the door open just to get some cooling relief. The staff was understanding of the situation and we tried to keep our noise to a minimum. Next day the room is still hot and I had to move yet again to another room. Margarita the front desk clerk expressed how sorry she was for my experience and got me another room. I usually go here for my birthday but next I will not because the entire experience was awful. Management really needs to step up and get this hotel back to the condition it was.

Somewhat disappointed! Room rate was satisfactory! The door was misaligned so you had to push or slam to close. The toilet leaked somewhat which meant you needed to put a mat down. The bathroom faucet wasn’t stable. The door handle to the closet came off. It needed someone to tighten the screw down. We had no toilet paper for one night. We were given tissues to use. I was told by front desk and housekeepers that there was no toilet paper to be had.

The bathroom was dirty, I found a used bandaid in the shower drain, mold in the shower covered by wallpaper. Limited breakfast choices.
