We stayed for 4 nights last November. Well where do I start? The initial welcome was absolutely lovely. Tony was so friendly and kind. Our room( Herne) was unique, never stayed anywhere like it. Where else could you sit in your bath and look out of the window overlooking Glastonbury Abbey? The bed was comfy and the room temperature perfect for me. Breakfast the next day was fantastic, all cooked fresh. I had Eggs of the forest mmmhhh. The whole place was so magical and special, I have just booked for next year. See you again

We chose the Covenstead for our wedding weekend, wanting to experience a magical, special place to reflect who we are. And it didn't disappoint! From the moment we stepped through the door, we felt the positive energy and uniqueness. Nothing was too much trouble for Emma and her team, they made our wedding weekend so special and memorable. We stayed in the gold room and we felt like a King and Queen. The bed was comfy, room spacious with an en-suite bath and shower which were both great. Breakfast was amazing and so much choice. And sitting on thrones with other guests was fun and interesting. Our favourite time of day was early in the morning sitting in the garden on the love seat enjoying a cup of tea. There was so much to explore at Covenstead - we only touched the surface in our two day stay but we'll definitely be back! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay x Rob and Amber x

Oh dear. I don't know where to start. I'll try... Parking was full. Righto. Parked on a side street, which I hate. Locking the room was an intelligence test in itself, one which we failed. Breakfast was promised to be something special, but it was really wasn't. The worst part is that they hide the cheapest supermarket budget brown sauce, the gloopy, glossy stuff, inside an HP bottle, like no-one would notice. For a premium price of £189 a night, this is just cheaping out, badly. But the best is that we were cleared out of the garden at 22.15, because, 'You can't use the garden after 10pm'. This new, apparently invented-on-the spot by-law, was applied to use relaxing quietly, with music playing at volume 1 of 10, on the hottest day of the year. It was also the longest day and we were told multiple times that there would be drumming all night due the solstice festivities, all in party-town Glastonbury. But, stay out of the garden after 10...absolutely diabolical. I could not recommend this place, absolutely not.

We loved our stay here. The owner gave us such a kind welcome, the staff were wonderful, breakfast excellent. The decor is incredible but most of all - there is a very warm and kind energy about the place. It is now my favourite Glastonbury accommodation. Thank you Tony, Emma et al. Jo and Adrian.

This wonderful, special and magical place to stay is simply fantastic in every way. The rooms are spectacular and so comfortable. The ambience is great and the Covenstead is packed with beautiful and extraordinary furniture, artifacts and books. It is so friendly and the breakfasts are amazing. I cannot recommend the Covenstead enough! You must stay to experience all it has to offer. We have visited for over 15 years and will continue to do so.

The legendary former owner, created an exotic decor adorned to the brim with an eclectic mix of international Boho art and artefacts. She has imbued the building's interior with an ambience of a free spirited, sensual world, creating a destination in its own right. Tony and crew provide a personable service rarely found in the UK nowadays. Tailored breakfasts, first rate coffee, a convivial dining experience with fellow guests, mostly, returning faithfuls. Already reviewing the diary for a revisit.

As returning guests to the Covenstead we were still blown away by this amazing magical place. Great central location to explore all that Glastonbury has to offer. The room we stayed in had great facilities and views of the tor and abbey over the road. The bed offered the best sleep we've had in years. And as for the the decor, truly breathtaking array of mystical, esoteric and witchy to keep you enthralled. But for us the hosts are the key to the Covenstead, from the moment we arrived they were so friendly, happy and helpful that you really do not want to leave. Without question the breakfast in the grand dining room was another highlight, great food and great conversation with fellow guests and the hosts. All in all we would highly recommend The Covenstead to anyone, regardless of beliefs that wants to have a magical stay at a unique B+B.
