Lovely stay at The Ambassador. Free parking at the rear of the hotel was a bonus, if a wee bit tight to access. Staff were very friendly and attentive. We were given one of the larger rooms in the annexe and it was huge! The room was warm and clean. There was lots of complimentary tea and coffee too! The bed was one of the comfiest hotel beds we've slept in. Our cooked breakfast was very good and a reasonable price too. The only negative was the cold tiles on the bathroom floor but I'll take my slippers next time 😂 Overall we had a really great stay and would definitely stay again.

Hotel was perfectly located next to botanical gardens in a quiet area with good links to the centre of Glasgow, there is a small car park but it is quite tight to get in. The breakfast was ok but was reasonably priced, staff were pleasant an helpful, I would recommend this hotel esp if you are visiting someone at the uni or going to a gig.

Great location for the City and the University. A good three star hotel, very clean, good breakfast and friendly staff. Limited parking is available, which is useful as we did not need the car to find good close by Restaurants. Well decorated and maintained

I had a triple apartment with fully equipped kitchen and shower room. There was a microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge and full cooker. The shower was hot and very powerful. The room was warm and comfortable. Everything was spotlessly clean and the area was also quiet. The only noise I heard were guests returning after a night out but as soon as they went into their room it was quiet. The location is great, right next to the Botanic gardens and handy for Tesco express, Waitrose etc. 2 bus journeys took about 45 minutes to the airport. I can't recommend this place highly enough and it's great value.

10/10 service and nice hotel
10/10 for man on reception stayed in room 15 which had no view other than roof plus room has support beam right next to bed but room was satisfactorily clean with exception of few high areas with dust but overall clean and tidy and nice hotel. Breakfast was ok nothing great but to sum up service and hotel lovely and definitely would stay again maybe not in that room.

Good location
The hotel was clean , staff friendly and lovely location next to the botanical gardens. The only issue we had was that in the morning we could not have breakfast as we had not booked the night before. Make sure you book in for breakfast if you want some. Fortunately there are lovely cafes along Byres Road which serve great breakfasts.
