The hotel has a quiet environment, right by the lake. The room price is quite reasonable. The hotel's restaurant has good food and plenty of wine choices. I ate here for two nights and was very happy. I will try the breakfast next time. It takes about an hour to drive to other attractions from here, which is quite reasonable. I will consider staying here next time.

It's great. The hotel is in Loch Lomond National Park. The room is facing Loch Lomond, and the view is amazing. The facilities are also complete and clean. I also want to praise the hotel's restaurant, which is affordable and tastes first-class. I ordered haggis appetizers, beef pie and ginger ale, and it was not a bad deal at all. The portion was super large, I couldn't finish it, and I didn't have dessert in the end.

The room is big enough, but even in summer, the house is relatively cold. However, this is because of Scotland. The hotel's soundproofing is not very good. People walking upstairs can be heard. The surrounding environment is very good. They have their own restaurant for food. It is best to make a reservation, otherwise you have to wait.

We went for an evening meal at the restaurant bar. The service was great and the food was brilliant. The BEST gluten free pizza I've had in a long Time!

Our stay was just okay. Bit disappointed for the price we paid. We paid extra for the premium pod, but we don't think it was really worth any extra. Didn't seem to be anything special about it. It had potential, but for something advertised as new it already had issues like warped floors. No AC or screens on the windows. There was a fan and the midges weren't too bad. Smart tv but no netflix and couldn't see a way to cast from my phone. There were no extras you would expect in a "premium" room (e.g. no tissues, fridge, or lotion). Bed was okay. The loch view is from pretty far away and only when you are out on the patio area. You can't get down to the loch from the property either. I'd call it a lawn view pod. There was a good wait to check in and check out as no one was at the front desk. The welcome email had said to make reservations ahead of time for the restaurant. When I went to book online that afternoon it was booked solid til after 8pm. Found out when we checked in that they could have set aside a spot for us if we'd let them know - too late since we ate elsewhere, but they really should have put that in the email. So we just had drinks. Breakfast was average but included in the price. We would maybe stay again, but I wouldn't pay more for the premium pod unless there were improvements.

The class of ‘75 in Topographic Science attended a two day celebration of 50 years since graduation. As the class consisted of only six people we were a team of 12, most of whom took lodgings in various disparate buildings of the hotel. We had a delux double in the Aber building which had a beautiful view of the loch from a very large balcony. This was deemed an excellent spot for pre dinner champagne with the group. We all moved to the hotel proper for dinner where we were seated in the back section of the restaurant. We had arranged for everyone to have the “B” menu which offered a good selection of dishes, including some haggis! The breakfast buffet was extensive and offered most of the traditional Scottish breakfast elements with the exception of black pudding, which was substituted by haggis! Our only criticisms of our building and room would be a) that there was not a properly adjusted soft door closer on the front door resulting in loud bangs when the door closed b) there was no door stopper on the glass balcony door so it was difficult to keep the door open c) the second side of the glass balcony door was screwed shut therefore it was impossible to open both doors to the balcony d) we could not lock the balcony door as the mechanism did not work as advertised e) it was difficult to open our room door and my wife thought we were locked in a couple of times! Regardless of the above irritants a great time was had by all.

We had such a lovely stay at the Oak Tree. The food was delicious, so hearty and full of flavour. The service was just as good, if not better! Every staff member we met was so friendly and welcoming. Our room was spotless with beautiful views towards Loch Lomond. We found it to be the perfect base for exploring Loch Lomond and the surrounding area. We even went 'Haggis Hunting' (if you know, you know ha) which allowed us to explore the village a bit

The outside eating area was strewn with litter and uneaten food. Dirty uncollected plates lying everywhere. The toilets were in an awfu state. The food is just awful. The chips are rock hard and the portions are tiny. I noticed uneaten food all around the outside so clearly other people thought the same. The staff just dont want to be there and I don't blame them. The soup was not warm and this is the third time I have had lukewarm soup. The price of a small bowl of soup is ridiculous and the high prices overall do not match the low standard of food. Unfair on folk and do not spend your money here.

Lovely clean comfortable room with great view of the loch. Staff on reception/shop and in the restaurant were super friendly and the food was really good quality. Perfect location for walks of all types nearby. We left some items behind and they posted them out to us immediately - they really went above and beyond in customer service! Genuinely would recommend the Oak Tree Inn and have already done so to my family!
