A family of 8. The Hayloft was just perfect. During our booking and up to our arrival we were kept fully updated by our lovely hosts Julie & Nick. Glanhenwye consists of three grade ll listed cottages. With a 200 year old cobbled courtyard area. (Exquisite). The accommodation on arrival was immaculate. To greet us was a thoughtful welcome pack to include Tea, coffee, bread, milk, chocolate, popcorn & Welsh cakes. Each of the double bedrooms are large and furnished elegantly. One with a King - king size bed. The wardrobes are interesting and were a topic of conversation. The kitchen is well appointed with adequate equipment and crockery for our large group. The lounge area with comfortable sofas, wood burner and hi fi turntable (with a selection of vinyls) was a nice touch. So remember to bring your own.. There was even a Neil Diamond LP 👍. The bathrooms are decorated beautifully with a selection of luxury soaps.. The external area has various garden seating/picnic points to relax in. Within the courtyard area is a table tennis and a boulder climbing wall too. Glanhenwye is the perfect location for exploring Bannau Brycheiniog etc. Brecon 20 mins and Hay 5 mins. Perfect.. By the way you are off the main road area. So quiet, peaceful and private..
