We stayed here in their duplex family room for a night during our short Albania trip last December.. very beautiful room , lovely view , warm host family.. we enjoyed our stay .. a little tricky to drive the steep roads leading to it but a lot of sights to visit around , most within walking distance.

Una favola da mille e una notte. Un vero museo di casa padronale ottomana dell'ottocento, a gestione famigliare con proprietari eccezionalmente gentili. Le stanze sono bellissime e confortevoli. La loro atmosfera e l'arredamento ti riportano indietro in un tempo antico e romantico. Colazione e soggiorno eccezionali. Mi è dispiaciuto dover andar via. Non è facile arrivarci, perciò se telefonate quando siete in Argirocastro, il proprietario vi raggiunge per poi guidarvi nell'intricato dedalo di viuzze del borgo antico.

Un très bon moment et une magnifique expérience ! Nous avons passé 4 jours dans cet hôtel. Arrivée en voiture, nous avons apprécié la facilité de stationnement juste devant. Notre chambre était une véritable pièce de musée, pleine de charme et d'histoire. L'hôtel est tenu par une famille adorable, chaleureuse et toujours aux petits soins pour ses clients, toujours prêts à donner des informations et des conseils. Le petit-déjeuner était délicieux, et la localisation est idéale, proche du bazaar et de nombreux centres d'intérêt.

Located in the heart of Gjirokaster, this hotel alone would make the trip worth it. The rooms were breath taking, beautifully decorated that really captured the traditional Albanian feel we were looking for. Beyond the decoration the host was thoughtful, providing amenities in the room and ensuring the room was spotless. The hotel comes with a delicious breakfast and a large variety of coffee options. Whilst eating you are able to enjoy a beautiful view of the mountains. The hosts themselves were extremely friendly and welcoming, with the owner even giving us a lift to the bus station and ensuring we got on ok. We would most definitely recommend this hotel and would love to return again one day.

Beautiful and well kept property with so much ancient details from Ottoman historical times. It almost feels like you’re living in 1800’s. The host was friendly and very informative with historical events in the area. Great place if you want to visit Hoxhas house where he was born as well as other important historical homes. Breakfast was refreshing. Great views with relaxing vibes. Definitely would recommend if you are visiting Gjirokaster.

Honestly the rooms are beautiful and some have a view over the valley which is stunning. Very much feels like a historic place to stay. Hosts are lovely, very accommodating and the view at breakfast was also gorgeous. It’s a great location as it’s in the centre of the old town near the bazaar. The drive there and parking can be a bit stressful so get help from the host!

Ubicato nel centro storico di Girocastro. Le camere sono arredate con mobili in legno intarsiato e fornite di confort . La colazione è ottima e servita in terrazza panoramica. I proprietari sono disponibili a fornire informazioni e suggerimenti. Non è facile da raggiungere se ci si affida al navigatore GPS
