We stayed at Asiatic lion lodge for four nights at the mid October 2025 to celebrate Diwali, and it was such a special experience. From the moment we arrived, the team made us feel incredibly welcome with smiles. The lodge feels exclusive beautifully designed, spotless, and wonderfully peaceful. Check-in was smooth, and we appreciate the manager,Every member of the team was kind, attentive, and genuinely cared about making our stay perfect. Our suite was spacious and elegant, with 24-hour hot water. We were amazed at how clean it was not a single insect , which is remarkable considering the wild surroundings. The food throughout was very good, Overall, Asiatic lion lodge offers a warm, personal, and memorable stay. We left feeling relaxed, celebrated, and grateful a truly wonderful experience. We will definitely coming back soon and will recommend to our family and friends as well, 10/10 rating is not enough.

Had a wonderful stay with them. Great ambience, super service, good food. Only minor grouse was that they did not mention about all the additional activities that could be provided... Like birding or a small trek etc. Also the accommodation for the driver was not clean... An update later received from the driver. Please ensure clean bed and toilet is provided... You can charge a little more for drivers stay if you need. And yes some discrepancies between reservation team and the staff... Reservation team should know that ala carte menu is provided instead of us being given another number to talk and chk if we can get food. It can be a single point of contact for customer. We know if we have booked with only breakfast and we will obviously pay for any other meal, don't expect it to be free.

worthy notes: (1) well mannered and cooperative team (2) excellent service value addition: (1) can avoid diwali celebration noise and orchestra - keep it simple - let other properties do it - you can be different (2) keep holding rods in bathrooms for senior citizen - there are no holding rods (3) missed authentic gujarati/kathiawadi food

A very cozy place with full of birds chirping in the morning with please atmosphere. Staffs (Nikunj, Rahul and all) are so good in their behavior, it's amazing. Room was very neat and clean with all toiletries. It's just amazed. Paisa wasool

This lodge is located 20 minutes from the entrance of Gir national park. The lodge is quite basic but clean. The food is fresh and vegetarian only. The hospitality was friendly. Unfortunately the English of the staff was poor, what made the communication a bit slow and very often unclear.

Asiatic Lion Lodge is a wonderful place to stay at Sasan Gir. It is situated about 15-20 minutes away from the Sinh Sadan where the Safari Jeeps have to be picked up from. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the property has sufficient open space for children to play around. They also organized a Siddi (Local African natives) Dance on the weekend, which was entertaining. The hotel also organizes trips to the nearby Siddi village, which is very educational and recommended. Since the hotel is located in the Forest Zone, the food options in the restaurant are limited, no room service is available and there is no food available after dinner, which could be a problem if you are staying up till late. Overall, its a great place to stay and chill if you have a group. It offers good value for money and we enjoyed our stay here.

This was a great experience and a hidden gem far from the safari tourist "busyness". Close enough to drive to the Safari trips. We had lovely rooms, with verandahs, great service, very tasty Gujarati food ..hot Bajra(Finger millet) rotlo and delicious dals and vegetables for dinner over two nights. It has other activities that we only found out about as we were leaving. It would have been nice to know about what else was against the Lodge wg birdwatching tour when we checked in. That is my only crib.
