They are great

I had to stop late at night or I would not have stayed here. They charged $181.00 for one night. $100 was for a "deposit" but they kept that. When I called they said I stole pillows. I never use pillows at Motel 6. I bring my own. I never received a bill or any explanation. I disputed the charge with my credit card company. I am sure that the consistently keep the $100 deposit figuring most people won't check. I have never heard of a motel charging a deposit before but I found out it makes it harder to dispute the charges if it is added to the bill. The room was dirty. The parking lot was dirty. There were homeless people everywhere. It did not seem that the parking lot was safe for my car. There were other reviews from people whose rooms were broken into. I generally do not have a problem with Motel 6 but this one makes me reconsider ever staying at a Motel 6 again.

I needed a place to do some work take a shower and do some laundry. The motel seemed clean and the washer and dryer did a good job. However it took three calls to the front desk and a trip around second floor to find it. Tub bottom slippery almost fell. No hand gel in dispensers staff not super friendly.

There were dark hairs in the bathtub, gross. I cleaned it before we used it. Towels and wash clothes were tattered/thin/worn. Room showed wear and tear. The entire room smelled very strongly of onions/food cooking. We were wondering if someone was living below the room and cooking something. The smell did not dissipate at all and the odor was very strong, all night long. We were woke up at 2-3 am by people partying in the parking lot just outside of our room. 2 men and 2 women drinking, talking loudly, and locking/unlocking their car repeatedly *beep* *beep beep* *beep* *beep beep*. Real annoying. I don't know if they were staying at the hotel or just came over there to party in the parking lot after the bars closed, but they caused us to have a bad nights sleep. Overall not worth the $$ paid. Although this was the least expensive place we could find in Gilroy at $146. More like an $80-$100 room/hotel.
