According to Google Maps, it's about 10 minutes from Gili Port, but it takes 20 minutes if you avoid the passing carriages and bicycles. Never drag a suitcase and take a carriage even if you pay some money.
The owner seems like a local person, but he is very kind and personable. The rooms are so-so, but I understand that Gili accommodations are generally of lower quality than Bali. However, it was a little disappointing that there was a lot of sand on the bed.
The room is so-so. The advantage of this accommodation is that Turtle Beach is right in front of the accommodation, and guests can use the sunbeds for free. A huge advantage is that you can safely leave your luggage in the room and go out to the sea right in front of it without having to carry any luggage! Be sure to meet Squirtle~ Bicycle rental seems to be free, but we didn't try it because we thought we had to pay.

Wir waren 8 Nächte zu Gast im Vamana. Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt. Die Lage ist super ca. 10 min von der Partymeile entfernt. Vor dem Hotel ist ein schöner Strandabschnitt, wir haben hier mehrmals Schildkröten beim Schnorcheln gesehen. Der Pool ist auch sehr schön. Alles in der Nähe. Restaurants, kleine Läden, Massage. Fahrräder haben wir direkt im Hotel geliehen. Die braucht man hier, wenn man was sehen will von der Insel. Die Zimmer sind groß und sehr sauber. Diese wurden jeden Tag gereinigt. Frische Handtücher und Wasser wurden jeden gebracht. Das Frühstück war eher einfach gehalten. Frische Eierspeisen, frische Früchte, ein asiatisches Gericht wie Nasi Goreng, Toast, Croissants, Cerealien, 2 Säfte, Kaffee und Tee. Das Personal war immer freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

The rooms are big and very clean with all the amenties you need. The pool was lovely and the breakfast was a large serving. Location is on the quieter end of the island which we liked and close to Turtle Point where you can snorkel off the beach for turtles. We could rent bikes directly from the property and the staff provided good recommendations.

We hebben een fantastische tijd gehad bij Vamana Resort! De ligging is werkelijk perfect, direct aan het strand – ideaal voor een ontspannen vakantie. De kamers zijn ruim, modern en zeer goed onderhouden. Het grote masterbed was heerlijk comfortabel, en de aparte douche en toilet maakten het extra praktisch. De vriendelijkheid en gastvrijheid van het personeel waren echt uitzonderlijk; ze doen er alles aan om je verblijf onvergetelijk te maken. Absoluut een aanrader voor iedereen die op zoek is naar luxe en rust aan de kust! 🌴🌊

Il resort si trova fronte spiaggia con lettini di proprietà, ogni giorno facendo snorkeling potevamo ammirare le tartarughe. 🥰 Migliorabile la colazione, però per il resto tutto top. C'è la possibilità di noleggiare le biciclette, super comodo....

Très bien situé, au coeur des activités, face à la plage, beau spot de snorkeling. La chambre est accessible par un couloir en bambou qui coupe la lumière, d'autant plus qu'il n'y a pas de fenêtre dans la chambre. Promiscuité des voisins de chambres. Peu d'équipement : un frigo vide et sale, la TV ne fonctionnait pas, poubelle en plastique sale, pas de tapis de bain à la sortie de la douche donc plein d'eau par terre (glissant), 1 seule table de nuit alors que la chambre est spacieuse, 1 grande serviette par personne, pas de petite serviette pour les cheveux par exemple. Beaucoup de produits d'accueil, dommage qu'ils soient conditionnés en petits flacons plastiques, ce n'est pas très écolo ! Le personnel n'est pas accueillant, surtout le matin au petit déjeuner. Le serveur trainait les pieds et semblait blasé de servir les clients.

Chambre spacieuse, propre, grand lit et confortable... bref digne d'une chambre de luxe à un prix plus que raisonnable. L'hôtel est situé dans un endroit calme de Gili T mais pas très loin à pied du centre plus animé. Le petit déjeuner est top, et se prend les pieds (presque) dans l'eau. Le personnel est très agréable, serviable et toujours prêt à discuter/conseiller ses clients. Un hôtel vraiment agréable pour un séjour farniente la journée et fiesta le soir. Nous avons adoré!!
