Dit heerlijke plekje voelt voor ons altijd als thuiskomen aan de andere kant van de wereld. Ons vaste verblijf op Gili Air van de afgelopen jaren. Beter dan dit wordt het niet. Oase van rust en alles altijd meer dan in orde. Hier krijgen we altijd, zonder twijfel, het beste ontbijt van de gehele vakantie. Ook eten in het Italiaanse restaurantje van Dolce Mare is altijd een feestje. De liefde voor het eten proef je bij elke hap. Het Dolce Mare Boutique Resort heeft een fantastisch team van mensen die allemaal prima Engels spreken en die elk moment van de dag voor je klaar staan. Niks is te veel gevraagd. Voor ons is en blijft dit ons diamantje van Gili Air/Lombok voor altijd. Alé, Moreno, the boys & staff, we love you and will be back.

We’ve stayed here several times now and I’m delighted to report that nothing has changed. The staff are amazing. Rooms super clean. The lap pool is excellent and restaurant delicious. The owners are wonderful people and the location is sunset-outstanding. That ***** along the beachfront now is being developed and boasts incredible cuisine, the best pizza I’ve ever eaten, sunset bean bags, a gym, scenic massage venue and terrific swimming. It’s fast becoming the go-to part of the island and of course, Dolcemere is a 2 minute walk to the middle of the beachfront options. It’s also close to Oranges, is a wonderful Indonesian local restaurant worth a visit. Hire a push bike and access the entire island in a matter of minutes.

Had a wonderful stay at this traditional style, arty and well appointed boutique resort.
Dolcemare has beautiful grounds and is extremely well located for the best part of Gili Air.
Our whole stay was fantastic, made better by all the personal and thoughtful touches, such as sarongs and kimonos in the room, and a selection of considerate amenities ranging from toothbrushes, face masks & sanitary products.
The staff were fantastic and also organised quality bicycles for us at a very fair cost.
The room is artistically decorated, the bed was large and comfortable...also has Netflix if you want a movie.
The resort feels very private and only 5 villas, even though it is quite close to the beach and the busier area of Gili Air.
The pool is awesome and great to cool you off or swim laps.
Breakfast is included, delicious, extremely fresh (not large portions though).
We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend...however you will hear some party noise from beachside bars etc.

Great place to stay
Great place to stay. Staff was very friendly. We forgot things at the room when we have made the checkout, the staff really made an effort to find us and return our forgotten things, really pleasant experience all together

Outstanding accommodation with excellent breakfasts, a fine dining Italian restaurant, a beautiful big cool pool and superb staff. The great location is also a bonus. Our Go To place to stay on Gili Air!
