Misty Harbor Resort

We stayed here to attend a concert at the Pavilion which is almost next door. That's the only good thing I can say. We checked in and dropped off our luggage and went to dinner before the concert. We returned to the resort just in time to walk to the concert. It wasn't until after the concert which was about 11:00 pm that we actually checked out the room. The resort says there is a whirlpool tub but there was not. There was a tub that ONCE was a whirlpool but the jets had all been blocked off and covered. There were tv's in the bedroom and living room - neither of which worked. There was a remote for the a/c but it didn't have batteries. The microwave was impossible to figure out how to operate and trust me I know how to operate a microwave. I've never seen one that had the controls BEHIND the door so you couldn't select anything with the door closed and there were no instructions. There was a comforter and pillows stuffed between the head of the bed and the wall and since there wasn't a headboard on the bed, our pillows kept falling back in the space where the stuff was crammed on the floor. The chairs on the balcony were falling apart. Since the office was closed and there was no phone number posted to contact there was nothing we could do but wait until morning to report these issues which we did. The desk clerk seemed surprised at all our issues and told us that the units are individually owned and she had no idea of the problems. We were contacted a few days later by the general manager who apologized for the condition of the property and offered us a free night in the future which I politely refused. No other remedy was offered. Parking for the concert venue is only $15 and would be well worth it to stay anywhere else!

Great Location, Dingy Room My mom and I stayed two nights for a concert at the pavilion. We have stayed at the facility before, both times were condo rentals, and we had no issues. This time we rented a room with two queen beds that is located on the ground level underneath other units. The room was very musty smelling and not very clean. There was a dehumidifier in the unit but it was full and needed to be emptied. Based on past trips here, this experience was disappointing. I didn’t bother to complain because I know the rooms were probably all full and from my past experience it hasn’t made a difference. Thankfully we had plenty to do and spent very little time in the room. If it had been cleaner and didn’t smell I would say it was worth the price for the location. We would stay here again, but not in one of these rooms.

Great Stay Stay was perfect and the location was ama ing! Went to a concert and could not have been closer to venue! The bonus was the access to the lake which was great. I cannot wait to book this property again next year!
