This was a wonderful place to stay for a simple, clean and quiet visit. Check-in had a hiccup (we called to arrange to come one day sooner, but the reservation hadn''t been fully executed when we showed up), but was immediately resolved. The rooms was basic - no smart tv to use our own Netflix, just cable (nothing on demand) but we didn't mind. There were plenty of USB ports for charging phones or connecting the laptop. The beds were comfortable (the bedding could use a comfy update as the waffle-weave blanket is uncomfortable for those of us with sensitivities or neuropathy), the room was nice and dark, the A/C worked well. We appreciated the mini-fridge for use and a single-cup coffee maker. I loved that there was a variety of individual OTC items for purchase at the front desk as well as a cooler with beverages and some snacks. The self-serve breakfast included was really quite good with excellent options from eggs, French toast or pancakes to pastries, cereal, juices and fruit. There was some variation every morning. Ooh, and lots of hot coffee and tea options. Excellent. The neighborhood is safe and quiet and just minutes away from the fun restaurants and shops on the harbor. When we needed to shift our departure date by a day, staff took care of it immediately with no problem. There is also plenty of parking out front. I would definitely return.

I travel often for work and sometimes plans change and you need to cancel. I cancel thru my AMEX GBT. While trying to explain, Chris, at the desk spoke over me and hung up on me. He said I required an email from Best Western with the cancelation. All my years of booking business travel I have never received an email directly from the hote. He accused me of not even canceling my reservation when I have proof from AMEX GBT. He is extremely rude, lacks customer service skills, and should not be allowed to answer the phone. He accused me of causing trouble, when my company travel service inquired about the refund. He said I was a no show and refuses to reimburse the $232. I requested a receipt for my expense report to which I have to receive. He said I will send it as he spoke over me again and hung up on me again. I will make sure while my company is doing business in Gig Harbor we give our business to The Inn at Gig Harbor, as Chris seems a little unhinged and extremely rude. Susan Braaten please look into this and his rude and unprofessional behavior. I hope the $232 was worth the lost weeks of booking through my fellow associates. Please send my receipt.

We recently spent a couple of weeks in the PNW and stayed at 4 different hotels. Of these, the Best Western Wesley was by far the worst. The problem is the building is old, and the walls and ceiling are extremely thin. So you hear everything from your neighbors - and I mean EVERYTHING. We heard them urinating, flushing the toilet, turning on the bathroom fan, opening and closing internal and external doors, and more. We even got woken up one morning from a neighbor’s cell phone ringing. And if you’re unlucky enough to have a downstairs room, the people above will sound like they’re thumping around whenever they walk. This is especially noticeable during the night, and we were woken up multiple times. We tried addressing this with the front desk but the manager, Chris, was rude and very unprofessional. We were also not the only ones with this issue. Both of the other two groups traveling with us had the exact same problem, and got woken in the early morning by noise from their neighbors. We also heard several people at breakfast complaining about the same thing, so this seems to be a common issue with this hotel. So if you’re going to visit Gig Harbor (which I recommend, it’s a great little town), do not stay at the Best Western - especially if you value your sleep or expect to get some rest. The walls and ceiling are just way too thin. Consider instead the Maritime Inn or one of the great AirBnB’s in the area. We’ve done both in the past and they’re excellent, way better than the Best Western Wesley. I gave this hotel 2-stars because all of other staff, except the management, was very good - especially Jacob.

I spent three nights at this above average best Western hotel. From check-in, to breakfast to room quality it’s a fine place to stay. As far as complementary breakfast go, it’s above average. I usually don’t eat them, but this one is a bit more inventive than normal. It had fresh soft cinnamon rolls, as well as a breakfast casserole option each morning I was there. I didn’t use the small swimming pool outside, but it looked like it would be a pleasant place to hang out. It’s only about a five minute drive to the scenic downtown waterfront. I’d stay here again

the Best Western Wesley Inn is a delight. The staff is incredibly friendly and goes out of their way to be helpful. They provided me with directions to the free downtown shuttle and suggestions as to good nearby restaurants. The rooms are beautifully appointed and the breakfast buffet is good.

Very clean, delicious breakfast with fresh cinnamon rolls and exceptional coffee. Attentive, friendly staff who also seem to like each other. Lovely grounds with the most beautiful and uniquely variegated orange rose bushes near the outdoor pool. The hotel is well-maintained and has a welcoming reception area with coffee available all day. Location is easy to find. We would recommend this BW to friends.

Had a really nice stay at the welcoming BW Wesley Inn. The hotel is dated but is also immaculate, the grounds are nice and the pool is lovely. Because of the old nature of the hotel the rooms, or certainly the one I was assigned 237 is huge. Not a small space like some modern hotels. A comfortable bed, refrigerator, ironing board and iron, plenty of outlets, generally a dark room but comfortable with a good ac unit. Complimentary breakfast in the morning was good. Will say that the orange juice and the coffee quite watery. But the food offerings are just fine. French toast, sausage links, good scrambled egg. Would return without hesitation

I have family that lives in town so my bro and I stayed here, after I spent a lot of time reviewing our hotel choices. The difference between this Best Western and the Inn at Gig Harbor is the Best Western definitely has balconies. We were able to get upgraded to a king size bedroom that had a lovely balcony that looked out onto some trees. This was a nice respite after days exploring town the staff was very nice. The only downside was that our hotel room keys did not work twice so we had to visit the front desk two times to get replacement, hopefully they will fix the machine making keys. I think this was just a one time fluke. We woke up a little too late for breakfast, but we were able to catch the tail and and the ladies serving it were kind enough to you send this with her to go plate. The coffee in the hotel lobby is not bad. The swimming pool is lovely. I would definitely stay here again, clean rooms, and I like to lay out of the room because the bedroom was in a separate room in the back.
