修繕はしてあったが、清掃が行き届いていない。雨風は凌げますが、ゲストハウスとしての営業としては、最悪な対応でした。お勧めはしません。

This hotel doesn’t have a pin on Google maps. It’s impossible to find it. You can circle around the area of Nagaragawa and yet will not able to find it ‘cause it doesn’t exist. I’m so exhausted from my trip from Kanazawa and was eagerly looking for it but it’s impossible to search for it since they don’t have any signboard or any indication that it exist in the area. The pin on Apple Maps/Google Maps leads me to a very dark alley with no single person pass by. I passed by a neighborhood and people looked out as if I’m weird because it’s not like there’s a hotel nearby for me to walk around with a luggage. So careful reminder. NEVER TO BOOK THIS PROPERTY!!

[Things to note]
(1) Even when we arrived at the check-in time, the door was closed and no one was there (more details below)
(2) It seems the room hadn't been cleaned, probably because it had been used by a guest the night before. Looking closely, there was a lot of hair and dust
(3) There were no tissues, only a half-rolled roll of toilet paper on the dressing table (there were two rolls in the bathroom)
(4) The inside of the shoe case was full of sand and dust, but the owner turned the case upside down and put it over our shoes to store them together, so our shoes got covered in dust
(5) The cloth slippers were also slightly dirty
(6) It said that breakfast was included (buffet), but there was none (lol). I didn't need it, since some people had said it was just a pastry and a juice carton.
(7) Towels were in a garage-like area of the office next door, but we didn't use them because it was almost outside.
(8) There are no restaurants or convenience stores nearby, so you should either eat beforehand or buy food and other necessities at Gifu Station or elsewhere (reviews said there were no tables, but the room we stayed in on the second floor had a small table and chairs like a child's playhouse).
(9) There was no one there when we checked out, and it seems like they just let you leave on your own.
◯First, when we arrived, the door was locked and we couldn't get in, so we called the number on the door of the house next door that said "office." I was told "I'll be there right away," and after I waited on the sidewalk in front of the entrance for about 10 minutes, the owner arrived in a car from another location (← my child had a stomachache and wanted to rest early, so I wish he'd told me how many minutes it would take to arrive).
◯ I booked a room for my friend's family and two parents and children, and entered one room for my friend and her child (daughter) and one room for me and my child (son) (total of two rooms), but the reservation was actually accepted as one room for my friend, daughter, and me, and one room for my 14-year-old son. The owner is Chinese, and when I negotiated with him, he suggested that we could change it to one room for four people, although it was not my fault because it was written in English that the reservation would be made that way, and we changed it accordingly. The only thing we were grateful for was that they accepted our request (I wish they had posted a detailed explanation in Japanese as well).
◯ We stayed in a four-person room on the second floor, but the landing at the top of the stairs (right after you open the room door) was a shared space with a toilet, sink, shower room, refrigerator, microwave, and kettle. Since we didn't know when the guests on the first floor or the staff coming into the third floor from the adjacent office building would show up, the girls were nervous every time they opened the door to their room (the toilet, sink, and shower room were also on the first floor, so we were the only ones on the second floor who could use them, but the refrigerator was shared).
I wish they had posted information like that on the reservation page.

I booked this place because it was cheap and I was going to an air festival at Gifu base with a friend.
The room was so awful I wanted to cry! The room in the photo and the one I booked were different, and there were just two beds in a corner of the training grounds.
Of course, the washroom and shower were separate. I wasn't expecting amenities, but there was no hot water or drinking water... the toilet was Japanese style and there was no toilet paper, so I just had to put up with it. This was my first time staying at a guesthouse... it was the worst, and I looked for a nearby adult-only hotel but it was fully booked. I don't think this place should be registered as a hotel.
There was no crime prevention or security. It said breakfast was included, but the one sweet bun and one carton of juice was all I could do was laugh. I want my money refunded.

It was a clean and confortable place, but anyway, I don't know why, there was nobody for my check-in, nor the six days I stayed there, I only saw work people there two times. So well, it's a good place, but if there's nobody to look after it, well, you can't ask for help or maybe end up sleeping over on the street. Also, in japanese night there's practically no streetlights and it was almost imposible to find the place (it's like hidden behind and enormous stone wall)

I would like my committed money back from this location.
A local taxi cab driver could not find it.
When he found it, he left us there. No one answered the door. No one answered the call. No one answered. We were left in a precarious position in the evening with no place to stay. I cannot recommend this place to anyone and I have a very flexible, mind and travel mindset, we eventually stated a nearby hotel on the river, which seemed like something ******* would end.
Very bad ******* experience
