This pleasant cozy cottage is located next to a water canal on a spacious plot of 400 m² and offers a lot of privacy. It is always a delight to stay here! The lovely towns of Meppel and Steenwijk and the woods of Havelte with its unique Dolmens (in Dutch: "Hunebedden)" are within cycling distance. You can also take a lovely walk along the cozy houses and canals to the many cozy restaurants and cafes, where you can also enjoy the beautiful view from their terraces. The authentic village of Giethoorn is the "Venice of the North". The characteristic bridges, village canals, beautiful farms and tiny houses with thatched roofs determine the village image. The cottage is located a short 200 meter away from the free P6 car park. There is a hand truck available for transporting your luggage, since you can't park directly next to the cottage.
