Julie's Park Cafe & Motel

This was our first stay at Julie’s Motel. We were very impressed with the room’s size & cleanliness. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend to others. Staff were friendly too.

We (2 couples) visited Door County at the end of August. We stayed in the Cafe Suite at Julie's Park Cafe and Motel. It is a 2 bedroom/2 bath condo above the cafe. The cafe is open 6:59-3:01. I was a little concerned that the noise from the cafe would rech the condo. I was so pleased this was not the case. We heard no noise from the cafe. The condo was clean and comfortable. There were quite a few stairs leading to the second floor. This was not a surprise as the website mentioned it. However, since we packed for 12 people and not 4, it was a job to move in. There was a full kitchen - missing ice trays but there is an ice machine outside the building. The living room was comfortable with a loveseat, couch and swivel chair. We could have used a footstool but it was fine. There are lots of windows to look out on the street and people watch. The first bedroom has 2 queen beds, a dresser and nightstand. There is not a closet but 2 luggage racks. There is also a tv but we did not use it. The bathroom is across the hall - it was fine with enough room. The second bedroom is at the end of the hall. It has one queen bed, 2 end tables and luggage rack. This room has a small stepdown but it is illuminated by a blacklight ***** for the night. It also has a small balcony but it overlooks the dumpsters so we did not use it. The bathroom for this room is next to the room. It is a smaller bathroom but sufficient. The Cafe Suite is just far enough away from the main shopping area of Fish Creek but close enough to everything. It is at the entrance of Peninsula State Park. The cafe is a great place for breakfast..and a bonus that it is just out the door. We would definitely stay here again...just not pack as much to carry upstairs.

Perfect spot to stay in Door County. Clean, pleasant decor and nice amenities. We stayed in a pet friendly room with no pet and no sign that it was pet friendly. 😊

Room was spacious and very clean. Just enough amenities for our 2 night stay. Cute and up to date decor. Quiet night sleep. Didn’t hear all the “details” of the guests around us. The gathering area was nice with the fire pit and games to play. Plenty of parking and room for our bikes. Information about stay clearly available.

We have stayed at Julies manytimes over the years, and they never disappoint. Rooms are always clean and the nights are fairly quiet considering how busy Fish Creek is in the summer

We had a great trip! Julie's is exceptionally accommodating to pet parents. You will see most families have dogs. If a pool is not a requirement... Julie's is a great option! Good location near the heart of Fish Creek's shopping and food scene.
