AppleCreek Resort-Hotel & Suites

The staff were fantastic, the pool & hot tub were very clean and well maintained. The single queen room was a little small, and the ac was very noisy, but we were only in the room to sleep & shower. Small refrigerator and microwave were a nice addition.

Annual trip to Door County, first time staying here...was perfect! Location was outstanding for our plans of hiking and visiting parks. We had the small Queen bed room, it was exactly what we wanted. Basic, extremely clean, excellent towels, bedding, and simple accommodations, and place to sleep and shower, that's all that was needed. I know many people say this type of room offered at this hotel is small but...really, what more do you need? It's Door County, you don't spend much time in your room! There were two of us, with personal belongings and a cooler...we fit just fine in the room. More important than the room, let's talk about one of the most amazing, friendly and informative persons we have ever come across in all our years of Door County - Lynne!!! Not sure if she's the owner or manager but what a kind, thoughtful sweetheart of a lady! Super helpful, great suggestions and stories! Hopefully there is availability next year, because we will DEFINITELY return to Applecreek!!!

My friend and I planned a girls trip. We are in our 60's and requested a 2 bed room on the first floor. The room was excellent and included a small outdoor deck that we sat outside at everyday. It had a private backyard view. The hotel was quiet, relaxing, and the location was excellent! I especially enjoyed the recently refurbished indoor pool and hot tub. It was beautiful, sunny, warm, and relaxing. The friendly staff was helpful and answered any requests. They do not do automatic daily services to rooms, which I prefer. I prefer the resort style, where the room is mine only to enjoy until I leave with no interruptions. I plan on returning next spring with my friend who loved it as well! I loved how this resort was close to everything, but away from traffic and the bustle.

We love AppleCreek Resort. We visit Door County as often as we can. We always stay at Apple Creek Resort. First of all it’s an impeccably clean resort with great pool, hot tub and sun deck. It’s conveniently located. We love the stores that we can walk to across the street. The owner is a fantastic host giving out maps and discounts and good suggestions too. It’s a family run business and it’s the best!

The property is old but it’s part of its charm … we found it to very clean and Lyn is very hospitable. They are in true Door County spirit taking care of us as if we were family! It’s not the big city vibe that so much of Door County has fallen to but rather the honest sincere service that really hopes you enjoy your stay and they do all they can to see to it you do … from coupons for local business to soft fluffy pillows… we will so be back!! Thanks Lyn … thanks to your family and your helpers everyone was fabulous!!
