Stayed at Casa Mindela during our Coastal Camino Walk. As we were along the coast, the guesthouse arranged for a taxi to take us there. The place is very charming and the reception welcoming. I wish that the weather was warmer to enjoy the outside spaces. We were lucky to have a large apartment. We also had dinner, which was very good.

Loved our first night on the Camino Portuguese at this spot! Idyllic country lodge with welcoming hosts, excellent dinner and breakfast. Enjoying a drink on the grounds was a fitting end to a great day of walking. Our room was clean and comfortable - a true respite.

being able to find what you want in one place would seem difficult instead it is Casa Mindela. extraordinary staff for competence and courtesy, excellent rooms for cleanliness and comfort, divine food also for vegetarians, excellent breakfast for choice and quality.

Typical place and very well looked after. We went out of season. We were the only ones on the Camino de Santiago and the only ones in the facility. There are no nearby bars or restaurants, but they offered to buy take away food and bring it to us. Since we are walking towards Santiago... I suggest it. In season it must be even more fabulous

This was a beautiful B&B! The history is rich in this farm house setting. Elena runs a neat, clean, relaxed operation in this property which her family has roots in dating back to at least 1864. She was lovely to meet, kind and helpful, happy to answer our questions about her property, family and the Camino. The old building is intact with enough upgrades to feel modern and updated as well. The breakfast was very nice. The room we had was small but comfortable with an updated bathroom which was roomy. I would have enjoyed another day here!

Very welcoming reception, Dona Helena (Host) is a very friendly and generous person. Superb space, ideal for a harmonious rest. Breakfast full of regional delicacies. This lovely restored 1864 farmhouse was our first stop for the night walking the Camino de Santiago Portuguese central route from Porto. Our room "Quarta Forno" was more like a small house. Well appointed and decorated with period antiques. Quiet, peaceful grounds. The owner was not in, being a Sunday, but the receptionist called her and arranged for a wonderful meal of delicious vegetable soup, bread, and fruit delivered to our room. The casa doesn't do a dinner meal and we had read that the owner will call a restaurant in town and then drive in to pick up and deliver you order. Be sure to put Casa Mindela on your list for lodging if you are in the area.

The house is beautiful and so is the surroundings. Comfortable bed. Small room, small bed, small TV. The soap dispensers in the shower and sink are almost empty. There are no plugs in the room. Only one night lamp in double room, very weak wifi. The room had a stool but no chair. "Professional" staff. Disastrous breakfast. Low quality and as if it were rationed. Natural orange juice but not squeezed. They put it liquefied (to make more use) and watered down. They do not have any of the available rooms open to customers. Only the breakfast one that is closed when finished. If there are outdoor spaces subject to the weather
