We were very pleased with the hotel. First of all, it is in a great location. When we got tired while wandering, we immediately went to our room, stretched our feet for 15 minutes and continued our tour. The cleanliness of the room, the facilities and the breakfast made me wonder why this hotel should be 3 stars or at least 4 stars. The staff also provided an excellent service and we left really happy. We were also happy that there was no parking problem. I strongly recommend it.

The room was fine. We needed extra bedding and 2 nice staff came immediately and made the extra bed for us. However! We arrived with a reservation confirmation of 2 adults 1 child. Their confirmation had 2 people therefore the room they had was too small. They did have another room for 3 they said we could have but it would be 30 euros extra. At the time we simply agreed and paid as there was a big queue behind us and the amount was small. Buttons seemed like a con to extract more money from us, it wasn't our mistake as we had confirmation for 3 people at the designated price. It's a shame as I really liked Ghent and will certainly return but there are other hotels to choose from.

Afer a long travel to Ghent I got to this hotel and I was given room number 69. It was a night without any sleep or rest as there was this horrible noise, like a compressor in the roof above my head. There were some ear plugs available in the room, but even so, I could not rest. Also I uncorfortably sunk in the bed. An experience to not repeat. I advise you not to take this room.
