The Inn at Lincoln Square

This 1829 Inn survived the Civil War is original, the floors creek, and it's decorated in the style of the period. The owners are excellent and very friendly and the email that they send you before tells you everything you need to know about getting in because it's keyless. Limited parking because it's right on the main square which is the drawback not because of the innkeepers but because of the loud motorcycles that drive through up to midnight. Car noise isn't noticeable here just like at Gettysburg when they say to be respectful and quiet these loud motorcycles will revv up with there engines and you can't even hear each other speak when you are asked by signage to be quiet and respectful the falling soldiers at cemetery Hill. But that has nothing to do with the Inn...was authentic and we were looking for an authentic experience. And it goes without saying that it's very close to many different types of food or and or businesses.

Our second stay at the Inn at Lincoln Square. We absolutely love it ! Location is right in the middle of town central to everything ! It was clean and comfortable . Will definitely stay again !!

We spent our time in Annie‘s room, which was just delightful. They made our wedding anniversary special. If we stay in Gettysburg again, we will definitely book there. Thank you again.

My husband and I have a tradition of staying in Gettysburg for his birthday. Despite living 20 minutes down the road, we like to pick places that are rumored to be *******, and make a weekend of it. This was our first time staying at the Inn at Lincoln Square, and both my husband and I are eager to come back! As soon as we walked in, his reaction was, "WOW. This is the most amazing place I've ever stayed." We stayed in the Irene room on the 2nd floor. The classic charm of the Inn is lovely and captures the aesthetic of Gettysburg beautifully while remaining unique to it's space. The Inn sits right on the square, just 2 doors down from our personal favorite bar and restaurant, the Blue & Gray. The furniture is comfortable. Our room was very clean. Our hosts were beyond accommodating (I am a great guest, albeit an annoying one who doesn't know when to stop asking questions lol). The bed looked to be about a large queen size; the bathroom was spacious; the living area was comfortable and large; the towels were stocked and clean; there is a decent sized kitchenette complete with a stove, microwave and refrigerator. This place was a wonderful stay for the price (in the off season). I love to research the buildings we stay in. Do yourself a favor and do a quick Google search on the Inn before you stay here. The history is amazing, and the rooms are named after the Danner family members today.

We went as a surprise for my husbands 60th birthday weekend . We don’t care for typical bed and breakfast places or the standard hotel and this Inn was perfect . We had the entire second floor to ourselves , it was a perfect home away from home . Excellent location ! We walked all over Gettysburg and only moved our car when we toured the battlefield. So many great places to eat and so many cool shops to wander through. Highly recommend!!!! The Gismondi’s from National Park , NJ

The location is perfect to explore the town of Gettysburg. The accommodations were well maintained and perfect for a family. Easy check in was very convenient. We would highly recommend it as a place to stay.
