Stayed at Ikamus for almost 3 weeks - every day felt as if I lived in the bush, a small village. It is calm, wonderful garden, small pool and recreational area with billiard and barbecue area. Ikamus provided breakfast and dinner, washed my cloth - I felt like a second home. Nicely located - not far to a gym, shopping malls, and a short ride to main sites in Johannesburg.

the staff at Ikamu's lodge were amazing, efficient, friendly and very helpful. arranging Ubers and even returning promptly items that were left behind in a draw. so very greatful.

Accueil chaleureux de Géraldine et David dans leur magnifique lodge. Le lieu est splendide , le dîner excellent. Merci pour leur conseil et hospitalité . Super mise en bouche pour découvrir le pays. Un arrêt incontournable a Johannesburg.

Our two nights at this lovely lodge was really wonderful. The property is beautiful and gives the feeling of being at a private retreat in a far-off magical place. From the food to the comfort of the rooms, everything was simply perfect. The staff are friendly and attentive and really make you feel as if you can make this delightful place your second home.

Nous avons été enchanté par le cadre exceptionnel qu'offre Ikamu's Lodge (verdoyant, fleuri, magnifique façade en bois, espace boma et braai, salle de sport...). Géraldine, David et leur magnifique fille nous ont reçu comme des rois, ils sont d'une telle gentillesse !

Super hôtes, super chambre, super petit déjeuner. Un endroit charmant et paisible qui vous donne l'impression d'être en pleine nature. Que ça soit en couple ou en famille (ce qui était mon cas), je recommande fortement cet endroit idyllique et paradisiaque. Encore merci à Géraldine et David qui nous ont accueilli comme leur famille. Points forts de l'hôtel:Luxueux · Romantique · Calme · Adapté aux enfants · Bon rapport qualité-prix. Moment très convivial et délicieux le soir autour du Poêle à bois. De super conseils de Géraldine et David sur notre parcours à faire en Afrique du Sud, des étapes à faire absolument et des itinéraires à suivre et à éviter, ils nous ont facilité et embelli notre voyage 😍

Great spot to wind down and chill in nice atmosphere and beautifully maintained property + gardens. Very friendly staff and owner, delicious breakfast and top notch room service. 2 minutes by car from shopping mall in a safe neighborhood. My only suggestion is to install bug nets on windows and doors, mosquitoes were eating me alive at night!
