We had a wonderful stay at the Giglio. The hotel is located in a nice and safe neighbourhood. Very helpful staff. The room is clean and has a minibar and lots of free amenities. The breakfast is a la carte and very tasteful. There is enough choice. The hotel arranged a pick up from the airport and a day tour to Soweto. Only thing which is when you arrive with a late flight the bar and restaurant is closed.

Hotel choisi pour sa proximité de l'aéroport. Accueil agréable chambre tout confort avec une excellente literie.il y avait juste des hodeurs désagréable dans les wc. Le restaurant est très bon juste un peu long pour le service, quand au petit déjeuner il est lui aussi bon mais faîte attention car vous n'avez droit qu'à un choix dans la carte et on vous ne stipule pas que le reste est en supplément. Après mon mécontentement sur cette démarche la directrice ma fait un geste commercial en m'offrant le supplément.

What a lovely hotel - fabulous bedroom with a massive shower (in the middle of the room!). Huge very comfy bed and heavy curtains so you don't get woken up by the morning light. Lovely decor and also a table and chairs on the patio outside the bedroom. Coffee maker in the room - we also asked for a kettle and some teabags which came straight away with a jug of fresh milk. The staff were really great - staff on reception let us keep the room a bit longer so we could shower before we left, they organised a very safe taxi for us to and from a golf club we wanted to go to and also back to the airport. Nothing was too much trouble. The food in the restaurant was excellent too - we had dinner which was lovely and breakfast was cooked fresh for us. The staff were all friendly and helpful - will definitely stay again on our next trip to J'Burg (only a 20 minute taxi ride from the airport too and in a good area).

We booked this hotel for a couple of nights either side of a flight down to Port Elizabeth from Johannesburg based upon the look of the rooms and the previous reviews. I must say that the whole experience exceeded my expectations. Our room (no. 8) was beautiful with possibly the comfiest bed I have ever slept in. Lovely complimentary snacks and coffee. However, Trudene and her staff really made the stay memorable. I just generally felt that they were keen to help in anyway they could to ensure we had a great time, from arranging a tour, booking airport transfers to holding our spare luggage whilst we were away. The sliders we had for lunch were delicious and the breakfast was generous in portion size and beautifully cooked. Would definitely stay here again when we return to South Africa.

This is an exceptional boutique hotel. Everything from the people to the service, the food, to the way the rooms are beautifully decorated. I highly recommend this hotel and I will definitely be back.

An excellent little hotel with helpful, friendly staff, beautiful rooms and very good food. We staying for an overnight stopover between flights and this hotel was ideal. There is a nice pool and space to unwind and relax. They hotel were in touch before we left the UK so we knew we have a dinner reservation with them too. We booked a taxi via Bookings.com and it all felt very safe and easy.

From check-in till check-out it was just wonderful. Beautiful setting and amazing room. Super bed. Great location with private and safe car parking. Breakfast and dinner 🔝. We recommend this accommodation. Just waw!

Een prachtig hotel met bewaking in een betere buurt van Joburg. Mooie Suites met uitstekende bediening. Heel vriendelijke mensen, overal in het hotel. Heerlijk zacht bed, mooi bad en douche, dikke handdoeken en alle mogelijke wasproducten. Flatscreen tv, wifi (te zwak met onderbrekingen) Heerlijk eten! Mooie parking, restaurant en bar binnen en buiten in de tuin, zwembad (slecht gelegen, tafels rondom op houten deck, niet uitnodigend om te zwemmen, heel het restaurant zou meekijken… buiten eten is dan wel weer heerlijk! Een aan te raden hotel in Johannesburg.
