Bad Experience
My room was not ensuite and my bathroom and toilet where across from my room. even though i was told that it would be my private bathroom on my first morning I found that my bathroom had been used overnight. On Friday night I was kept up by 2 young men who were in the room next door talking until 4am in the morning. I will never stay at 27 Angus again

I have been meaning to write this review since returning from SA but life happens :-) We booked the Olive Suite, Maple suite, Orange Suite and the Champagne Room as we were a group of 7 adults and 3 children. All suites booked were fabulous and we had a very warm welcome from Mavis who made our stay so warm and enjoyable. Well equipped huge suites, all very well maintained and spotlessly clean. The beds were all so comfortable and everything was just super. The bathrooms were all well stocked with toiletries and every room had a welcome basket of treats and a bottle of wine. Very generous gestures. We felt so at home and the place has a beautiful garden and swimming pool. We felt totally safe and had no complaints at all. We had an unfortunate, unexected situation while on this vacation which meant a change in our accommodation booking and David and Mavis were so accommodating and understanding which we so appreciated. The place was so quiet and peaceful. we were actually sad to leave and we would 100% return to Angus 27a should we ever travel to Johannesburg again. Thank you David and Mavis for your warm hospitality!

Der Besitzer ist gut erreichbar per Mail, aber persönlich bekommt man ihn nie zu Gesicht. Die Haushälterin Mavis ist eine unglaublich unfreundliche, unkultivierte Person. Bei der Gastfreundschaft von Afrika absolut nicht nötig, ich werde nie mehr wiederkommen. Außerdem war ich schon 1x hier und habe jetzt gesehen, dass mir der Besitzer absolut keinen guten Preis angeboten hat. Nicht zu empfehlen, in anderen Orten wird man herzlichst empfangen.

Die Ausstattung des Zimmers war sehr gut. Der Gastgeber war überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit und hatte gute Ratschläge und Empfehlungen für uns. Die Unterkunft war sehr sicher und ruhig und wegen des vorhandenen Notstromaggregats vom loadshedding nicht betroffen.

Ceos booked employees lat at night, the lodge was extremely helpful to accommodate us late at night. Ensuring a comfortable stay. Very clean and spacious.
