Good 3* hotel, next to the Gérardmer lake
The hotel has been renovated and it's still on the way of being done: new parking and wellness area are the next target.
New owners who seems decided to improve the old hotel.
Rooms are modern arranged, lobby and corridors too, the place is clean.
Rooms on the street side are quite noisy due to heavy traffic passage (main road, roudabout passing by the city).

What a lovely stay at this family run hotel. No effort was too much, the owners bring a real personal touch to the way they run the business. Brilliant location, lovely rooms, nice breakfast, all very clean. As a family of 5, we really enjoyed our stay snd will definitely go back!

Adequate
On arrival we did not know what to expect: the hotels exterior is not very appealing. The reception area has an old fashioned decor. The room however was clean, and the bathroom renovated with even an extra closet in addition to the 2 drawers under the sink.
The main colour in the room is grey, this makes the room rather dull.
The breakfast at €14 was sufficient. No eggs or other warm food. We only took it the first day, the other 3 breakfasts we enjoyed in the city center.

La chambre correspondait à ce qui avait été réservé et avait une bouilloire et le nécessaire pour se faire un café ou un thé. La douche était très petite et ne permettait pas de grands mouvements ! La chambre était propre et le lit confortable. Juste à côté du lac.
L’accueil a été par contre un peu « léger »…

Un grand merci à toute l’équipe de l’Hôtel La Réserve pour un séjour vraiment réussi ! Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été accueillis avec chaleur et professionnalisme. Notre chambre était d’une propreté impeccable, très confortable, et avec une belle vue sur le lac — un vrai plus. Le petit-déjeuner était un moment de bonheur : généreux, varié, avec des produits de qualité. L’emplacement de l’hôtel est idéal, face au lac, à quelques pas du centre de Gérardmer, ce qui permet à la fois de profiter du calme et de l’animation locale. Nous avons passé un excellent moment, et c’est sûr, nous reviendrons. »

Hôtel bien situé avec possibilité de garer la voiture dans les environs. Accueil charmant et j’ai dû payer la nuit et le petit déjeuner de suite. Ensuite une très jeune femme me donne la clef magnétique et m’explique tout. Chambre numéro 4 au premier étage, très lumineuse et avec une vue sur le lac. Le chauffage était bien réglé. Très bon matelas, chambre propre ainsi que la salle de bain. Petit déjeuner buffet complet en chaud et froid. Fromages, charcuteries diverses œufs, viennoiseries, cake et fruits et j’en oublie tellement il y en avait. Prix correct et on ne peut que conseiller cet établissement.
