Kasteel B&B Sint-Bartel

Ik kan je enkel waarschuwen om hier NIET te boeken. Wij konden last minute nog iets anders gaan zoeken en niet verwachten dat we ons betaalde bedrag 1,5 maand geleden terug gingen krijgen. Enkel in te checken tussen 15u en 18u, nadien te laat.

-Dag van aankomst: na zes telefoontjes kwam iemand opdagen om ons binnen te laten (stonden voor gesloten deur) - na 2 minuten uitleg opnieuw vertrokken (gebouw was leeg -geen deken te vinden in de kamer - na twee maal vragen gekregen -geen toilet op de kamer (op de gang) -ontbijt: brood was keihard (door te lang in diepvries) - koffiekoeken was maar half gebakken (nog rauw van binnen) -niets van gezelligheid of persoonlijke aanpak

Wij kwamen 10’ later aan dan voorzien. Er was geen enkel licht in de b&b en zag er heel verlaten uit. Toen we de eigenaar opbelden bleek hij al op een uur afstand te zitten van de b&b en moesten we maar om 21h30 terug komen om in te checken. Hij was heel onbeschoft aan de telefoon. Toen we om 21h30 terugkwamen was er nog steeds niemand aanwezig. Ook geen andere gasten… Als ik nu alle recensies lees begrijp ik waarom. Toen we aankwamen bij de b&b reed er een witte Porsche vol plankgas weg van de b&b. Zeker dat het de eigenaar was want na wat zoekwerk zie je dat hij ook een garage heeft en deze ook niet koosjer is. Reeds klacht ingediend bij ***********. Een goede raad! Boek hier niet! Pure oplichterij!! Wij zetten verdere stappen.

We had a bongo voucher and took it to B&B Sint Bartel in Geraardsbergen. However, we were treated unprofessionally in front of a closed door. She then kindly led us to our room, where we already had the impression that the room was a bit cold and I turned on the heater. When we came back from our walk in the center and had something to eat there, we arrived in the b&b in a cold room where the heating was not turned on or did not work. When I went downstairs to look for someone, it was a challenge to find someone for help, although I saw them sitting in their private room with a large group, after calling the desk several times I went outside and went through the large window of their private sign that I needed someone. A man came outside in a drunken state and I explained the heating to him. I received the answer, and I quote: I will look at it later, the boiler may be set a bit low. I find myself back upstairs in our room, where after a few minutes the heating still did not come on, so my girlfriend said that she would take a warm bath while waiting. She turns on the tap in the bath and after half a minute or 1 minute no hot water came out of the tap. We turned the tap to the other side (maybe the pipes are connected in reverse), but this did not help so we turn off the tap. , I try the same in the shower with no result whereupon I find myself back downstairs and this time it was even more difficult to find someone for help I still saw them in their private laughing and drinking and making noise , I called several times where no one responded, because I did not want to impose myself, out of politeness, I did not go outside again to stand at their window. After at least 15 minutes I stood at their inner door of the private and knocked on the door. After 5 minutes one of the people saw that I was knocking at the door. The same man comes to me and was already considerably more tired than before. I explain to him again what is going on and he answers me derogatorily that the boiler is on at 80 degrees and we have to be patient. I kindly ask him to perhaps show me what he agrees with. Once in the room he is not very friendly to my girlfriend and goes to the bathroom. The tap was still on the blue mark after we tested several times with the tap on hot and cold. He tells us in a belittling manner that the tap must be on red (as if we are Neanderthals) and that we have to wait at least 5 minutes for hot water, he leaves and says along the way “the heating will turn on”. We wait 5 minutes for the hot water, after which we receive lukewarm water. I had had enough and told my girlfriend that we will not stay here another minute! We left, put the key on the counter and they were standing outside drunk
