Ramada by Wyndham Jacksons Point

I recently stayed at the Ramada Jackson’s Point, and it was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The room was filthy, with multiple bugs in both the room and the bed. There was a disgusting odor that made it hard to stay inside, and to make matters worse, the drywall was unfinished, with patches that hadn’t even been sanded or painted. I was so disgusted by the condition of the room that I seriously considered sleeping in my car. The pool, which was advertised as part of the hotel’s amenities, was completely closed without any notice. This false advertising was extremely disappointing. When I raised these issues with the hotel staff, they were completely unhelpful and refused to offer any refund or compensation. I later escalated my complaint to corporate, and shockingly, my case was closed and marked as spam without any resolution or follow-up. I don’t usually leave reviews like this, but I feel compelled to warn others. For the price I paid, I expected much better. This hotel is in such poor condition that it should be shut down or undergo major renovations. I strongly recommend avoiding this place.

Our room which was really close to the lake had a great view. Our beds were super comfortable. Our desk chair was broken and there was no coffee pot for our coffee machine. The pool, whirlpool, sauna and fitness rooms were all closed due to a malfunctioning pump. We did receive a coupon for the use of a complimentary watercraft. Breakfast was good, if a little basic. It would have been nice to have some orange juice. The dock is beautiful, but there were only a few chairs to sit on and a couple of them had broken arms. There is too much watercraft in the parking lot and even on the shore of the lake...it makes the resort look tacky. The ladder for the dock needs another rung so that people who are shorter than 5'5" can step down into the lake; otherwise it's very difficult to get in and out of the lake.

I felt like I paid competitive high cost/pricing for the stay but got below discount accommodations. No private beach as advertised, no functioning pool or hot tub. Gym was ridiculously small and missing equipment. Room door appeared as though it had recently been kicked in. First room stunk of cigarettes. The furniture was old and defaced (scrathes and dents). The king-sized bed was extremely uncomfortable and shaky (very cheap). The A/C was at least 25 yrs old and smelled very musty. Doors, and trim were missing paint - the painting was not completed. Walls near toilet were disgusting and needed cleaning. The shower was nice.

Very nice mattress and beds were all new amazing view great location. A little outdated but clean and well kept on new management. New management working hard to update resort and well underway to being a beautiful place to stay. Very friendly staff and attentive. Beautiful peaceful stay amazing views and relaxing. Complementary breakfast complementary breakfast was outstanding large portions. would definitely recommend for an enjoyable, peaceful, beautiful stay

Clean room, good mattress, That’s about it. Lake view is a joke, although you can walk down to the hotel dock. Premises are in rough shape, and not clean on their grounds with garbage laying about (discarded diaper, beverage containers etc) Included breakfast was alacartes; pancakes or scrambled eggs and toast being the the only choices. Waitress was friendly, but not very helpful.. we ordered toast by itself, and she brought full complement of food. What a waste! Didn’t enjoy hotel.. good for workers needing a quick place to sleep and go, but for a. visitor to the area, we did not enjoy our stay.. won’t be back.
