The scenery is beautiful, the room is large, and the people are outstanding. It's worth staying here, the people are warm and helpful. I don’t know when the $50 deposit will be returned to me. This is my second stay. I will stay here a few more times when I have time.

Perfect spot to rest your head after spending the day in the historic district- it’s quiet, clean and beautiful. A quick walk to the riverfront and a fantastic view of the ships coming through on the river.

The cost of staying at this hotel has gone up drastically. The $40 parking fee and all the fees and taxes make this NO LONGER our favorite place to stay in Savannah. The cost of a drink in the lobby bar is at least double what the local bars and restaurants charge! If you are not on an expense account, there are much more affordable options.

I wish I could rate this hotel higher. The staff members have been friendly and the room was very nice. However, the noise level was out of control. Even though the hotel has a quiet time in place, it was not adhered. Do not stay on the second floor unless you are ready to hear noise beyond anything you can imagine.

The location is, obviously, fantastic, and the staff is excellent. The property is clean and the wifi adequate. The meeting spaces were kept at 68 degrees, which was much chillier than most of us wanted it to be. The only good side is that it's hard to fall asleep when you're shivering. That all said, the property is showing clear signs of aging that aren't being addressed. I nearly lost my laptop to condensation formed under it because the humidity was insanely high. The hotel's answer to "My room is muggy" was "Turn your thermostat to 65 degrees so it feels cooler because our maintenance people can't do anything." They moved me to another room where the problem was exactly the same. The mattress was definitely past its prime. There was a distinct dip where people have slept over time.
