Super 8 by Wyndham Georgetown

Jessica E checked me in and I am forever grateful to the kindest she bestowed on me. She absolutely made my night, my room is beautiful and very comfortable. Plenty of places to eat and is very accessible to the highway. I’m thrilled. Thanks Jessica!

PROS - Easy check in with friendly front desk staff. We requested a top floor room and it was quiet, with no outside noise coming in. Plenty of hot water, and decent water pressure. The beds tend toward firm without being so hard you felt like you were sleeping on a board. There is special parking for Veterans, which we appreciated. Good location right off the interstate, with plenty of restaurants and stores close by CONS - This is an old motel and it shows. The sink is located right by the front door, and there is barely enough room to shut the bathroom door, which in our case had a big hole by the knob. I wasn’t recognized as a Wyndham Points Member, which I understand is very important to this brand. After reading some of the reviews, we were looking forward to biscuits and gravy for breakfast. How disappointed we were to find out that not only was there none to be found, there were no pastries, no breakfast meats, and very limited space for anyone to eat. If you’re looking for an inexpensive motel for an overnight stay, this would probably work for you. With all the choices of motels so close by, I will choose another motel next time we are passing through.

Check in was so quick and easy. Jessica E. was fun and so helpful throughout the process. My room was clean. Services were great. My only complaint would be the highway noise but it really was not a problem. Waffles, biscuits and gravy, and eggs were the warm items for breakfast. Jessica was so nice each time I went by the office. If I am looking for a place to stay while in the area I will be looking here first.

It was OK for one night. Our room was clean, we slept well (even with the noise from trucks) and the shower was really nice. When we got to breakfast there was not enough tables/chairs plus much of the food was all eaten. Others have called this a breakfast buffet, I don’t think so. It was about the minimum needed for you to take off in the morning. Coffee was good.

This is the third time we have stayed at this location. We won’t stay anywhere else. The staff is friendly and willing to help with anything we ask. We need a family room due to having 7 people and this is the only hotel that can accommodate. Highly recommend if you’re in the Georgetown area.

Always a pleasure, they always have my back and treat me right. Not a 5 star hotel, but that’s the value, right?

Happy with the safety, cleanliness and comfort of this budget hotel. Just keep in mind that it is, indeed a budget hotel. No frills. The biscuits and gravy at breakfast were a nice surprise!

Spent a night here on my way to destination. Staff was friendly, room was clean, beds were amazing!! Walking distance to several restaurants.

Was really impressed with this super 8! Our room was really clean, spacious and nicely updated, stocked with everything we needed, and the bed was comfortable. Desk staff was really friendly, rate was super reasonable. Breakfast exceeded my expectations for a Super 8. We stopped just for one night but would have been more than happy with this place for a longer stay too. Can’t recommend enough!
