The Tru is in a great location for the nearby baseball tournament facility. It has a Walmart grocery store and food choices next door. The hotel lobby is also perfect for team gatherings. Foosball, televisions, lots of sitting areas. We were able to watch Game 7 of the World Series with several teams. The fitness center is nice and has a good amount of equipment. Breakfast is nice with good offerings. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room was nice enough a bit cramped for the two of us. Some of the light fixtures were broken, like the red one on the wall next to the desk. Just dangling there. The bathroom door scraped against the floor making it almost impossible to close except about halfway. The bathroom was large and had a nice shower. Otherwise the room was nice for a two-night stay.

We stayed here for one night while traveling. I have the Hilton app and literally did everything through that! Checked in on the app, had digital keys, and checked out on the app! Easy peasy! The room is very modern which we knew booking it. It’s very clean, but small. Had a king bed which was very comfy. Hubby ate bfst there and was satisfied. Starbucks right next store for m and a Walmart which is handy. I would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Recently built. Good value for the money. Well appointed. Clean. The staff was excellent. The rooms are medium size by US standards but very well put together. Had most everything we needed including a well sized standing shower. I would have liked to have a safe. The refrigerator did not have a freezer section though. The AC was a bit noisy. I really liked all the hooks that they provided both in the bathroom and in the room. Many hotels never give you enough. And one nice, helpful touch was the nightlight in the bathroom. The small gym has a peloton bike. And the TV has multiple Internet Streaming options.

Breakfast staff- Friday staff - Shirley I think was her name. She was polite and very motivated. She had awesome customer service. She not once took a break. Saturday - Jennifer was rude. Seating was limited due to lots of people hanging out after eating. I am handicapped and can’t sit on bar stools. There wasn’t three seats together. We went to computer area. Staff John had first cubby. Next cubby had cleaner bottle on the table and Jennifer was sitting on the stool in the middle of the floor where the carpet and tile meet. She didn’t offer to move so we could have the table. The three of us squeezed into the next cubby. Jennifer sat there the whole time until John asked her to cover while he took the trash out. John was up and down as needed. Jennifer just sat there, in the way. We refused to have to deal with her on Sunday and didn’t have breakfast. She was sitting there the whole time while we were loading our vehicle to leave. She needs to be fired and/or learn what customer service is. Please note that John did a great job. Housekeeping staff - The staff on second floor was great and very helpful at helping us stay stocked on needed supplies. She was great during the whole stay.

Should Not use the Hilton name for the Hotel!! Staff at check was rude. Then at midnight got a call asking if something was leaking in our room. We said no. 1230am get another call asking the same question. We had to get up at 6am for baseball and these people called us asking if something was leaking. Nothing was leaking we were trying to sleep. On top of that the tv kept shutting off the channels didn’t work. The fridge didn’t work. We didn’t have any soap or shampoo in the containers in the bathroom. For over 300 bucks a night and using the name Hilton this hotel was horrible. I should have spent the 60 bucks abs went to the motel 6 would have been the same result.

We stayed here for 4 nights in a King bedroom. While Tru is an intermediate hotel category, Hilton should not attach it's name to it. Like most Hiltons the hotel was clean and the bed comfortable but that is where the good part ends. The rooms are TINY with no hangers, no closets, no dressers. Forget about unpacking. There are shelves for suitcases. The bed frames are too big for the beds and if you see guests in the lobby with band aids on their shins that is because the rooms are so small you whack your shins on the bed frames. This room is too small for 2 adults and the only chair you get is an uncomfortable desk chair. I understand the "vibe" is Millennials and families traveling for youth sports but that is OK if the rooms were better. They clean rooms upon request but had to ask twice for a room clean. The staff is very friendly but are not hospitality workers and not engaged. It is summer so we paid and avg rate of $220 per night which is a very bad value for the hotel. Hilton is smart as there are no other decent hotels if you need to be in Georgetown (like we did) so they can charge high rates.

Breakfast good. Staff nice. Room merely adequate. $350 for two nights way too much for this property. Ac as loud as a lawnmower. Hotel is in parking lot of a grocery store but next to Starbucks. No lighting in room. Shower old and chipping cracked. Maid only every other day
