The historic homes and buildings remain beautifully preserved. Explore the fascinating mining history of Clearcreek County in the local museums and take a mining tour or enjoy a ride on the Georetown Loop Railroad. Hike in the mountains on trails beginning right in Georgetown. Swim or boat on Georgetown Lake. Dine in a variety of restaurants a mere five minute's walk from your door. Explore the excellent art galleries,museums and shops. Eat locally-made chocolates and ice cream, soak in hot springs,indulge yourself in the fabulous mountain air and sunshine!
