Had great stay at G Hotel Gurney. Location next to Gurney Plaza and there’s a hawker stall area just next to the mall. Staff service was good.

I love the location of this hotel. Very convenient and accessible to amenities such as Gurney Plaza, Paragon and Gurney night market. Lots of food options such as restaurant and cafe nearby. The hotel staff were very attentive and friendly too especially the team at the concierge and reception. A very nice stay overall and will definitely come back again during my next visit to Penang.

Great stay here - staff are pleasant and polite, room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was tasty, and location is conveniently beside Gurney Plaza with multiple shopping and dining options.
Made a request during booking for a complimentary cake to celebrate my mum’s birthday, and they very kindly noted it down and provided one.
Minor areas for improvement - made multiple calls from my room to the guest service which were unanswered over a span of 10-15 mins; bathroom door for room 1020 couldn’t close easily; and the flush for the toilet bowl also appears to be lacking power for a proper flush. But otherwise all good and a recommended hotel for Penang.
