Courtyard Penang

I recently stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott Penang and was thoroughly impressed by the blend of modern amenities and warm hospitality. Location: Situated on Jalan Macalister, the hotel offers easy access to George Town’s UNESCO World Heritage sites, vibrant street art, and renowned eateries. While it’s slightly removed from the bustling core, attractions are easily reachable by a short Grab ride or a leisurely walk.   Rooms: The rooms are spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed. Features like high-speed Wi-Fi, smart TVs, and plush bedding ensure a comfortable stay. Some rooms even offer panoramic views of the city or sea. Dining: The on-site restaurant, Penang Kitchen, serves a diverse breakfast buffet with both local and international options. Guests have praised the variety and quality of dishes available.   Facilities: The hotel boasts an outdoor infinity pool overlooking Penang Hill, a well-equipped 24-hour fitness center, and the Gin Library—a distillery-themed bar on the 23rd floor offering a wide selection of gins and cocktails.  Service: Staff members are consistently noted for their friendliness and professionalism. Many guests have highlighted the attentive service, from the front desk to housekeeping. Extremely hospitable and clean. Convenient location and even the standard rooms are big. Bathrooms are really classy and big as well. Front desk also made an effort to give us rooms on the same floor without us asking. We booked 2 rooms. 👍👍
