For 1,500, you can only stay in ordinary hotels in the second and third tiers of China? But 1,500 RMB is really a top-notch price among Penang hotels. I think it was based on the price of this room type, so I was very disappointed when I arrived at this place. Although I was prepared for this to be a B&B before booking, the actual situation did not match the price at all (all I could think of was that Ctrip did not verify the situation. (?). There was almost no sound insulation, cheap carpets, and moldy electric mosquito coils... I originally booked two nights and only stayed for one night before I moved to another hotel I had stayed at before.

This boutique hotel is situated in a perfect location, right in the heart of the city. It has 6 rooms, meaning it’s very quiet and private. The room we stayed in was very spacious. The bathroom has a large tub. They offer a service called bath butler, which someone comes in and helps setup a bath for you with candles and bath salt. As a bonus, they have a great playlist on the iPad. All of the staff was friendly and helpful. They would recommend places to go.

I stayed in the Dunand room and it was everything I needed and more. The room has a plush king size bed, bath and shower with all the amenities. Breakfast was a rotating menu of Asian and western food and I always had too much to eat. However, the best part about this hotel is the staff. KC and the rest of the team went above and beyond to support my stay. I would not hesitate to book here again!

This hotel is in the centre of the tourist district in Georgetown. All restaurants, shops and art work are close by. The signature of the hotel is the bathtub which they will prepare for you to luxuriate in herbs and salts for complete relaxation. Breakfast alternately western and oriental are really good and plentiful. The beds are enormous and extremely comfortable. There are many modern touches which are amazing. The free minibar includes beer and soft drinks and lovely teas. The staff are very friendly and communicative by whatsapp. Will definitely stay again when in Penang.
