I arrived at the hotel early in the morning and checked out at 2pm. At one o'clock someone opened the door directly (without knocking or ringing the bell, and I also turned on Do Not Disturb). The service is unbeatable.
I stayed at G this time because I wanted to try it out and see how it compares to Marriott. It's really a world of difference. The local five-star is just bad. And it smells like cheap perfume. Speechless. It is recommended not to use it if you have nothing to do!

Great location near to Gurney plaza and Gurney Paragon. Excellent service, amazing room and the best part is you can take the buggy to go shopping even though it’s a short 3 mins walk. We booked the executive premiere room to accommodate an extra bed, it comes with access to the exclusive club at level 24, including complementary cocktails and snacks from 6-8pm. The view up at Gravity is spectacular! Will go there again.

Ghotel-kelawai is always the choice when on vacation to Penang. Strategic location near Gurney and Paragon malls. If you are tired of walking to Gurney mall, we can use the buggy car facilities available in front of the hotel. Always comfortable staying in this hotel, the rooms are spacious and clean. The best room service always provides more mineral water 👍

Location was great. Buggy service was thoughtful . Breakfast variety was quite good. But I can’t imagine such a nice hotel using such worn out towels . Not just 1 face towel even the bath towels are all very worn out dirty looking not white in colour. The hair dryer was full of dust not cleaned before . Should look into these issues as it really affect the imagine of the hotel.

It's a very good hotel. It's right next to the shopping mall. You can basically get it all in one stop. It takes about 15 minutes to take a taxi to George Town. It's acceptable. The drinks in the mini bar are good. The swimming pool experience is also good. Except that the road there will be more congested, it's acceptable.
