Cayman Reef Resort by Cayman Villas

Fantastic location, 10 min walking distance to Camana Bay and powdery white sand on the main part of Seven Mile Beach. From Camana Bay it’s an easy ferry ride to Rum Point as well as for tours (Redsail Sports) to stingray city and starfish beach. To get to the main stretch of beach walking from Cayman Reef, one just has to walk on Bay Street north about 10 minutes to the second public beach entryway just past the tunnel. Trinda and her team were super responsive and made sure that we had any kitchen/bath/laundry supplies that were needed. The rooms had great views and were immaculate The condo itself had everything for the beach including beach towels, and umbrellas. A washer and dryer was in our unit, and the kitchen was fully supplied including trash bags for every trashcan. The resort itself is very quiet so expect a restful night sleep! On the part of the resort that’s right on the ocean it’s common to see cruise ships about every other day. Getting around by taxi is easy although most taxis require cash so we did a mix of the Uber equivalent of Island:Go (it’s an app) and taxis. WhatsApp (download and register before arrival) is a must for communication with anybody locally. We will definitely stay again at one of Trinda’s properties!

We’ve returned many times to stay at units owned by Trinda at Cayman Reef. It's been a fantastic place for both family vacations and a grandmother-granddaughter trip; comfortable, perfectly safe, and within walking distance of Camana Bay, a supermarket, and numerous restaurants. Trinda is a responsive and helpful host and her information booklet has great local recommendations. Most recently our family stayed at #44, which was bright and spacious with ocean views from both floors. Our daughter loved swimming in both the pool and the ocean and we all loved the sunsets. As always, we had a wonderful stay.

Recently vacationed at a condo here for a week. Condo was great however the CRR website is very misleading. There is no beach here! And there hasn’t been a beach here or within a few miles for months due to storms/erosion. If you’re looking for a condo with beach access, this is not the place to be.

Really happy we booked Nr57 with Trinda & Leo. No issues with the condo. Really well equipped and a nice bottle of white wine to welcome us. Location was perfect and we enjoyed the short stroll to Camana Bay across the main road. Lots of places to eat there. Also a reasonable walk to Craft restaurant/bar as well as XQ's and Fidels. You may be disappointed if you are expecting a beach but we were more than happy around the pool. Yes, it was a very warm pool but that's to be expected with a sun that intense in August. It was lovely to take a glass of wine to the sea wall and make use of the loungers while the sun was setting and the bats were coming out to play. We felt very safe in this location. Highly recommend staying here.

Absolutely fantastic location. Trinda was a dream to work with, the unit was clean, cozy and in a prime location on SMB. Came with all of the conveniences such as laundry detergent, dishes, and even seasonings. We will absolutely be staying here again.

We just returned from our 2nd vacation at Cayman Reef Resort, we first stayed at Condo 50 and most recently Condo 33, both are hosted by Marc and Monique, very attentive if any issues come up. I mention this because both condos were so clean, well maintained, and very comfortable. The location is perfect for walking to restaurants, food market and the spirit's store. They have experienced some beach erosion; they have worked around it by setting up some loungers and sun umbrella on the lawn which is a just few steps from the ocean. We had the most wonderful time at Cayman Reef Resort.
