It is indeed a very classic hotel, but the service attitude is not comprehensive. I booked a room with a lake view balcony, but the balcony was dirty and unclean, so I couldn't sit outside. Then there was light leaking from the room at night, and the light from the corridor. I reported this problem, but they didn't respond at all. How should I put it, it still made me a little disappointed.

Because the hotel's service attitude varies from person to person, it feels very uncomfortable and shows their unprofessionalism and lack of empathy for earthlings, which is a pity! This was my seventh stay at the Beau-Rivage and again it showed what a very professional, elegant and friendly hotel it is! All staff from Front Desk to Albertine’s Bar to Housekeeping, etc are excellent. The hotel retains such an historic atmosphere although renovations to update are currently taking place in a very discreet manner. Each time I go I begin to plan my next visit and I wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else in Geneva!
