The property was destroyed in a typhoon a couple of years ago, and they have only restored parts of it and none seems to be working to restore the rest. The room was good, but the sliding doors were corroded shut and difficult to open, similarly the drain plug in the sink was corroded and stuck down. The maintenance staff were excellent and responded to these things within 10 mins. But I shouldn't have had to ask, these things should have been checked and fixed between guests. Lots of the outside needs a coat of paint.
The breakfasts were a joke, no bread one day and I believe no meat another. The morning juice was weak and thin and came out of a packet. Eventually I bought my own coffee and asked for hot water. Other guests were bringing in their own fruit.
Although it's on the beach there was no swimming as the beach was rocky. The pool was good for swimming and was 6ft deep.
It was easy to get into General Luna 60 peso in a TukTuk or trycicyle and all the drivers knew where it was.
