Kalinaw Resort

Excellent hotel, great service, spacious room, clean, and had all the amenities we needed. Food was delicious. The people in the reception (especially Ms. Jude) and the kitchen staff were very helpful; I had an emergency food allergies from the day tour and they took care of me by calling the Siargao medic and cooked rice porridge just for me. After I got better, the backyard/beach staff taught us how to paddle and kayak around the resort for free. The hotel team has always been friendly, patient, and helpful. That impressed me the most. No matter what time of day or night, you could turn to them with all your concerns, not just on checkin and checkout, but also in giving directions to spots. They helped us book both our land and tri-island tours. I appreciate that they also provided us free snorkeling gears and towels during our day tours. Very sweet and caring team! The location is great-peaceful-private, where everything is within walking or tricycle distance. I would recommend and will definitely stay again if we're back in Siargao! ❤️

This is our 2nd time in Kalinaw Resort. Experience was fantastic, this is why we keep coming back. Resort is very peaceful, perfectly located, close to downtown but a bit far enough to enjoy peaceful environment. Food was great as well as service.

Experience was great only missing some amenities like Gym and some walking path. Beach front is poor though anly accomodation Rooms etc top notch. Only 6 cottages to stay so limited but specialized service. Food is excellent also however we cannot convert some breakfast to different menu (with add ons) as our land hopping entails leaving the resort early. So we have to have packed breakfast which is hard to eat. Too bad as breakfast is good. Rooms are quite spacious particularly Villa 6 all indoors. The other one is a large outdoor.

Resort has only 4 rooms ( two more are being built ) . The rooms are very big with excelent materials . Each room has a large swimming pool . They are all directly on the beach . The service and the food are wonderful. !! Located in the General Luna city ,close to good restaurants. We would love to come back ❤️

Absolutely made the right decision booking this resort. It has the homey beach vibes that offers comfort for couple like us. The kind of place to relax and rest for a busy person who wants to just commune with nature and connect with various types of people and each other again. The staff are very courteous and friendly and efficient. Melrose, Angelou, Kim, Alodia are very warmth to talk to. All our requests were attended. No complaints and highly recommended, plus that standard of luxury and finish in the villas are top rate with the obvious added benefit of a personal, large pool at the front of each villa. They always made sure we were comfortable and being attended to, but also not at all intrusive. The room is clean and conducive. The area is close the the main town and restaurants and market and great for surfing activities. The thing we loved most about out stay was the easy access to the beaches facing the pacific ocean and the nearby tourist attractions and tours all bookable via the hotel and we found them to be excellent quite the adventure, plus we had great advice from the team when we looked to do our own thing and many of the days including the coconut drive and view and bridge market with its amazing street food and atmosphere. Although the area and resort are still going through a degree of recovery, meaning the restaurant on site and other communal ammenities were off line, this was more than made up for by the personal butler services and the food, drink and service were all excellent. You may also make personal requests and the staff will make it happen. They granted my little father's day surprise for my partner in the day of our check in. I'm so happy for the efforts and thoughts that they put through it. Thank you so much as well to GM Eve who made every food delicious in our entire stay. Oh the fathers day cake is amazing, loved the taste. We hope to come back to your little slice of paradise one day.

Kalinaw Resort is the best place to be if you want to experience what Siargao is all about. The staff were attentive and anticipatory to our every need which created a 5 star environment. When arriving to the resort we were absolutely enchanted with the modern aesthetic and color tones that brought the room to life. I will definitely come back every time I’m here in the city. Thank you to all the Kalinaw staff that assisted us during our stay.
